When my best friend from out of state comes into town, we always make it a point to stop at Momo Mee. The Korean mandu and shao mai are incredible and are a repeat order for us. I can confidently say that I have never had a bad dish. This place truly is a gem!

We have been here several times in the past. We really enjoyed our previous visits. Tonight’s visit was disappointing. Checking in for our reservation we were taken to a dirty table which was hurriedly cleaned, but then took 20 minutes for a server to show after I had to go up tell the desk. It just seemed very chaotic. Food was just ok…. Not what I remembered. There was food on the floor around our table and the bathrooms were not clean. Not sure I will return.

Besides the awards...
A busy atmosphere consisting of twelve servers, and 13 persons in the small kitchen....
Professionalism and consistency stand out as the driving force to make this establishment a success...
I came into this having no idea what to expect at all... having korean food in atlanta, chicago, and huntsville alabama, for asian dishes. And being a large fan of sashimi and sushi in nigiri, I am very fond of most. Finding that there is such a diverse palette for asian flavors, depending on their region that the prepareris from. So I had no idea what to expect by coming to this restaurant.
As soon as the drink menu was not only presented to me but actually articulated on the essence and value of every drink that was a house specialty, I was astounded.
We settled to start with a lemongrass, margarita, which was light and refreshing without a real sweet or bitterness. That edge, would overtake the drink, but left the subtle.Hint of lemongrass gently rubbed around the rim of the glass to bring the intensity of the margarita, up to a level of slight minty type of goodness.
XIAO LONG BAO SOUP DUMPLINGS
was next... and an introduction on how they are eaten,; which is a ceremony in itself to bring unity and commonality to Amy couple or group. The flavors are nice and warning and awakens you're ability to bond with food and friends.
Korean noodles was another dish... and asking for a house pepper sauce to liven it up was a pleasant suprise...
A pepper oil of not just a couple of peppers made this up.
Okay. And the crispy orange beef that was something that will be remembered always period. I was informed by the owner that that dish, especially created and made... it's a crispy orange kind of flavor not overpowering, but very subtle.Where the meat is exceedingly tender and easy to eat while retaining a crispy outside crunch which is unique to any other dish.I've had anywhere. If you took a freshly prepared fried chicken and put sauce on it.You would say it might taste similar, but this has no visible breading to tell. It's cooked multiple times in order to bring out a special crispy zesty.Flair topped with sesame seeds that just dances on your tongue for a while. And allows you to savor the flavors. Usually after eating a portion of prepared meat with your meal....
It never lost its ability to amaze with any bite you took throughout the entire process of enjoying this restaurant.
Thai Tea...
No like others I had before...
But had the same base flavors, missing the low notes altogether...
But gaining some newer and lighter Flavors and high notes that other teas will not provide...= prolonged drinkable enjoyment.
Besides all that they have a great sake selection and beer selection, which represents a lot of different foods. You might have a taste for and find that it will meet your palate very nicely.
This establishment is nicely seated in downtown milwaukee.Very nice. With ample, parking, asks a very nice storefront. Comfortable seating atmosphere and wonderful people that attend. I highly recommend that you have reservations and make them in advance since most people that wait, Are there quite a while... Depending on how the crowd is moving along that night.

I was just minding my business, dropping off a package at UPS, when I happened to glance over and spot an Asian restaurant next door. And listen… I know it might sound stereotypical, but the way my spirit suddenly whispered fried rice? 😂 I had to look twice.
Before I could even finish the thought, the young ladies inside UPS lit up and said, “Oh, their food is good.” I said, I'd have to try for myself.
So naturally, I walked right out of there like a woman on assignment — because when the universe sends you food signs, you don’t question it, you follow. And let me tell you… every single thing about this place was worth the detour. The portions? Generous. The flavors? Bold and blessed. The vibe? Music playing, people laughing, plates clinking — the kind of energy that makes you feel like you just walked into the city’s best-kept secret.
And the funniest part? It’s tucked right under the Freshwater Apartments. If I lived there, I'd be downstairs so much they'd greet me by name and have my order ready before I sat down. I wouldn’t even pretend to cook — what for, when there's magic in walking distance?
Momo Mee… you made a believer out of me. One glance, one UPS conversation, one plate — and now I get it. This place isn’t just food, it’s a lifestyle choice. 🍜✨

We had an outstanding dining experience today that deserves a shoutout! From the moment we sat down, our waiter Marcos made us feel welcome and taken care of. We dine out often and have encountered our fair share of mediocre service—but not this time. Marcos was friendly, attentive, and brought a fun energy to the table that elevated the whole meal.
The food? Incredible. We ordered spicy chicken wings, xiaolongbao, mapo tofu, and spicy Beijing noodles—each dish packed bold flavors and was cooked to perfection. Every bite was a delight!
Great service and delicious food—this meal was a win all around

Momo Mee is hands down one of the best spots in Milwaukee for authentic Asian cuisine. The food here feels incredibly fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made — you can tell the chefs actually care about what they’re serving.
Their dumplings (momos) are a must-try — soft, juicy, and packed with flavor. I especially loved the spicy chili oil that came with them; it adds the perfect kick without overpowering the dish. The ramen and hand-pulled noodles were also amazing — rich broth, tender meat, and noodles that taste homemade.
The atmosphere is warm and modern without being too fancy — perfect for a casual dinner, date night, or just grabbing something comforting after a long day. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the service was quick even during busy hours.
Prices are fair for the quality you get, and the portions are generous. It’s clear why Momo Mee has such a strong reputation — it delivers consistently delicious food with real personality.

Love stopping here when I'm in the area! The crispy orange beef is our fav. The cheese momos are also a hit. Everything is so fresh and delish you really can't go wrong.

Our Korean Spicy Noodles, Potstickers, and Japchae were fantastic! Passion Margarita was also good. We were seated immediately because we had a reservation, but it took 18 minutes for any server to even acknowledge us. We were not checked in with regularly.

My Wife and I are lunch there recently. I ordered ramen, she ordered crispy pan fried noodles with beef. My ramen was unfortunately terrible. Tasteless, the noodles were actually stuck to the bottom of the bowl. My wife's dish was almost as bad. Her crisp noodle were drowned in a sauce that made them soggy and the beef had a thick coating of cornstarch. Very Bad
