I visited Mr. Dye's Pies today and I just had to show my appreciation for not only the pies but the wonderful and personable customer service!! The gentleman who offered me a sample of the Purple Monster pie was so kind and I hands down had to buy a slice after my first bite! Similar to Sweet Potato Pie but purple and I definitely recommend it as a MUST when visiting. Key Lime Pie is also my favorite and it was perfectly tart. My only wish was to have added whip cream but all in all I loved my pies and will definitely be back next time I go to Third Street Market Hall!

Grabbed a 1/2 Gluten Free Key Lime Pie at the Madison Farmers market last weekend. It’s hard to find GF pies and this one did not disappoint! The crust was equally crisp and crumbly like Graham cracker crust should be. The filling was perfectly tart. Just like my grandma made down in the Florida keys!
