Delicious meal, sweet people. Rich, earthy flavors, left stuffed and happy. Definitely try the roast duck.

I’ve been wanting to check out Ni Burmese for a couple of months and I’m so glad I finally did! The pork belly salad was just the right amount of spice and acidity — and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Mont Hin Ga if you want a savory fish soup that feels perfect for fall in Wisconsin. Plus kind, attentive service that didn’t feel overbearing and really cool regional decor. Can’t wait to come back!

Unique Milwaukee restaurant. Party of 5 shared everything. Aloo cutlets great, better than samosas. Tried fermented tea leaf salad with a bit of apprehension as reviewers described funk, but we all enjoyed taste and crunchiness. Shrimp removed posted on menu. Chicken glass noodle soup had great broth, server provided 5 bowls so we could split. Needed a knife or scissors to split noodles. Worst offense was that the quail eggs were omitted. Waitress knocked off only $3 when I brought to her attention. The eggs were the main reason I ordered. Main entrees Kat ksyi kaik and goat curry enjoyed by all. The sauv blanc on menu paired well. 20% tip auto added parties 5 or more. Difficulty splitting check. Have a great lunch sampler which I posted but didn't try. This would be a great entry to the cuisine.

Just ate here for the first time. It was quiet at lunch and we had great service. I got the lunch combo and it was enough food for one large serving or for leftovers later. I like things REALLY spicy, and spice level 3 was just right for me - a strong kick but not totally overwhelming. The Kat Kyi Kaik was SO good, as well as the ginger salad and soup. I'm pescatarian and there were a lot of options for me. I can wait to come back and try other things!

I was thrilled with the lunch special. I like spicy food but was glad I asked for level 3 instead of 4 as that would have been too much, especially with the spicy condiments they bring to your table, which had smoky, spicy flavors. Can't remember the names of dishes but the tea leaf salad was a standout and one I can remember. But there was also delicious spicy chicken and an egg noodle dish. Highly recommend!! It is a bit oily but I'll still go running back!! The desserts and special beverages looked intriguing so I'll have to order one next time.

Everything was delicious, with plenty of options I'll be back to try more on the menu. Being the only Burmese cuisine in Wisconsin it's a must stop!

Amazing food! I ordered the lunch special with the tea leaf salad!! Yumm!!
Service was amazing. Our server was so nice and knowledgeable of the food and where it comes from, how it tastes. They had good recommendations.
Also had the Aloo cutlets! Beautiful: crisp, succulent.
The space is beautiful. Lighting is unique. The photos on the walls (even the bathroom walls) were very moving ❤️
Nice job! We will be back!!
I had a late lunch here and the food and service was phenomenal! The Burmese curry is more “oily” than other curries I’m used to, it was very rich and flavorful, a new favorite for me. It’s reminded me of a Jamaican oxtail stew. The pork belly salad was also really fresh and bright, not what I would expect from pork belly. 10/10

Authentic and fresh menu. generous portions! very cute vibe and decorations. highly recommend
Wonderful new Burmese spot in Bay View. Clearly family owned with friendly service and pricing. We had pork belly cucumber salad as an appetizer, with just the right amount of cilantro and onion. Lunch was lamb curry and a noodle dish traditionally served in Burma, Kat Kyi Kaik. Think of an elevated Pad Thai with mung beans and a spicy, savory sweet sauce. Everything was fresh and delicious. If you like spicy food I’d suggest getting a 4 or 5 level, even at the max of 5 it would be mild. I think they’re being conservative with the spice level as to not impact folks who prefer mild flavors. Next time I visit I’m getting one of the soups and also ordering a noodle dish at max 5 spice level.
