The wait to get our food was excessive, it appeared that they were filling to go orders ahead of the dining room. Service was very slow. I had the fried cod which was good but I seem to have been given the cold scraps from the bottom of the french fry tub. I was given a new order of fries but they were barely warm. We will not be going back. Not what they used to be. There were a lot of people waiting in the bar area to be seated and we waited almost thirty minutes to get our bill.

Great old school Milwaukee bar ! Fantastic burgers bartender Heather was a lot of fun and attentive. Will definitely be back ! Lot of menu items I'd like to try !!

Our first experience would have been more positive if the menu was more accurate. Ordered a 4 piece Perch fish fry for $17. When it came to me, it only had 2 pieces. I mentioned it to the bartender that it was supposed to have 4, and she claimed they changed their supplier and it only came with 2. The 2 pieces were disappointingly small and not what I'd expect to pay for a $17 fish fry. We may come back to try again, but it won't be a for the fish fry.

You just can't beat this place for aviance! It was built in 1903 when the wright brothers were flying airplanes. Harley-Davidson invented the hog! It's a must see place with leaded windows and gumwood everywhere. The bar is old school cool!

Very nice old looking bar and quaint. Honestly had the worst Bloody Mary ever (and not even close) as it tasted like Dr Pepper and thought I was crazy until the other person with said theirs tasted the same. Food is average at best…was expecting good going in but left disappointed unfortunately

I attended a birthday gathering in their private/back room area, it’s pretty cool that they have that offering, the room was small but worked out; the cheese pizza we ordered tasted a little bit “doey”, crust was too white, could have been cooked a little bit longer & the variety flavored wings tasted good but were bigger than what I would have liked; great customer service, I felt “comfortable” being that I was only one of two African-American patrons there, the other was part of the party guests. I feel comfortable to return, the drink prices were decent.

When we first arrived, everything went well. The older gentleman that served us (assuming he was the owner) had no problems showing us around the menu and the deals for the evening. However, when we first ordered, we were rushed to put food in. We ordered sodas that came out 5 minutes after the food, which we had to remind him about as he forgot. The Lobster Mac & Cheese tasted like imitation crab. When we tried to send it back, the man argued with us insisting that the quality was good (I tried it, it was not.) and then proceeded to not offer a replacement meal. One was provided when we asked, which then took another 15 minutes. The side of fries we ordered came out with the replacement meal, about 30-35 minutes after we ordered. After everything finally came out (45 minutes at this point) we were ignored for another 10 minutes. Not to mention earlier the man also was sitting with other tables socializing and drinking while we waited for our food and drinks. I had to go to the bar to request my bill, which was finally given to me by the bartender who was very sweet. I’ve spoken to others who have had similar experiences. We were not completely satisfied with any of the food we received, as the taste, texture, or temperature were not right on anything we got. Unless you have a lot of time on your hands and want mediocre food at best, do not eat here. I usually do not write bad reviews, or any reviews at all for that matter, but this was genuinely an awful experience.

Don’t even joke about having a drink in the daytime. The Bartender will get Very judgmental And contact your Employer!
