We love Onesto and generally always have a great dining experience there. Our recent visit was no exception and our waiter - Anthony - was fabulous. That said, I ordered the Bolognese this time and the sauce on this occasion was not what I've come to expect. Instead of a nice, hearty, cohesive sauce made from brisket, it was more like random chunks of brisket with thin sauce. Flavors were still oustanding, but there just wasn't that hearty bolognese sauce-y feel to it. My husband's Carbonara and my daughter's Rigate Alla Vodka were both perfect. We will definitely return to Onesto again but I hope the bolognese is back to its usual glory next time.

We really wanted to like this place but right off the bat it was poor. We were seated at a table where the floor was so sloped that we were concerned our glasses would slide off of the table. Our server was very slow and did not speak loudly enough for the noise in the restaurant. Our calamari appetizer was awful and the calamari was very rubbery. The pasta was supposed to be the hit of the menu but none of it was very good. Two of us ordered the Bolognese and it was done with simple spaghetti that I doubt was homemade. It was poor on all fronts.

Food was delicious and I was able to customize my salad to suit my dietary needs. Vibe and music were great. Host was very friendly and the Service was top-notch; very attentive, good suggestions, paced perfectly. Very much appreciated the staff remembered my birthday - I felt very special and like a VIP. We will return.

We were disappointed this visit. I have been here previously and my food was fantastic. I have even recommended this place to other people. However this time my pasta was flavorless and watery. My daughter didn't care for her meatballs at all. They were dry and almost burnt. We were sat so close to another party that it was uncomfortable to have our own conversation. The service was fine but nothing special.

Onesto's has been, and continues to be, one of my favorite restaurants. Such a relaxed, chill, elegant atmosphere. The service has always been excellent and the food consistently delicious. The wine and cocktails perfect! Love this place!

This was our firist visit to Onesto and we were more than pleased with the experience. The restauarnt is beautiful, the cocktails are delcious and artfully crafted and the food was spectacular. We had the burrato and crudo as appetizers. Nothing but perfect. They give you fresh bread with their house butter and their homemade-infused OO which is nothing short of divine. For dinner, I had the Campanelle and my husband had the Carbonara with scallops. We would order both again but given how great they were, we want to try other house pastas (all freshly made pasta, as well). We had the seasonal cheesecake for dessert and finished it in mere seconds. We will DEFINITELY be going back!

The Onesto team went above and beyond for me and my family. I treated my brother and sister in law to dinner here as a way to celebrate their recent engagement. I arrived early to ask the staff if they could take my card ahead of time and send over glasses of prosecco when my family arrived. They were on it and delivered seamlessly. They went above and beyond by sending dessert to our table to congratulate my brother. It was very sweet and something I appreciated very much. Everyone was extremely nice and professional. I did get my servers name but she absolutely knocked it out of the park. Thank you Onesto team for everything!
Best crab cake I ever had! Pasta dishes were excellent, and nice wine by the glass selection. Proximity to American Family Amphitheater is a plusfor pre concert dinner. Restaurant had a great vibe!

When have been going to Onesto's ever since it was first opened and always a place you could count on when bringing first time guests. We lived right down in the 3rd ward. Their menu has hardly changed over the last two years and the food quality has most definitely gone down. We had a sever who has been there for a few years and has served us several times, but this time she got our orders totally incorrect. First our appetizer and then our main course. She did however correct the problem very quickly. After many years of going here as our favorite place to eat and we could always count on the quality and taste of all over their food offerings. I think it's time to take a break and give them a few months in hopes they'll do something better

The warm mushroom salad was great! My friend had the seafood soup and said was delicious. server was nice and allowed us to sit and chat.

Food and waitress were amazing! Initial experience at arrival left a lot to be desired. There were four hostesses and they struggled. This is not who you should have greeting customers. We had a reservation and I intentionally did not make it for a high top in the bar. They went to seat us at the first high top by the door squished against the backs of another table and in a noisy high traffic area. I immediately stated that we did not reserve a high top and asked if we could be moved. This request was ignored even though there were several other empty tables. When my husband then requested again and pointed to a specific table they focused instead on scrambling to add place settings to our current table. The waitress was going to pour water and we asked her to hold off and let her know we were still hoping to get moved. All requests ignored and employees just kept pushing the process forward. We never even received enough menus. We have had a good experience at your restaurant several times, but this was the first experience for our friends. It was rather embarrassing that this was their experience after we hyped up how great of a place it was. Once we got our food the dinner was fine and the waitress was nice but out of all our visits this was very disappointing. You would really benefit from having more competent hosts as that sets the tone for the whole experience and they did not set it well at all.

We were Milwaukee tourists who found Onesto online and liked the menu. We come from a city with a vibrant Italian distinct. Nonetheless, we felt that Onesto was superb! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
