Parking was a bit of a nightmare because of Summerfest and the heat. Food was good as we're the cocktails. Decor was odd, but the service was excellent.

We went here to celebrate our future wedding date date night and it was the perfect spot. We had both ordered the carbonara and it was *chefs kiss*. we also loved the generous bread portion prior to our dishes being served. Also order the brown sugar espresso martini, thank me later !! I wish i remembered our servers name but she was excellent and checked on us so often.

I truly enjoy this restaurant and have dined here quite a few times. Last night, however, I was disappointed at how loud the dining room became. It was more than « energetic ». Rather, it was uncomfortable and my friend and I had difficulty hearing each other. Perhaps some additional soft surfaces would help to absorb the sound.

Simply outstanding birthday dinner for my mom. Not only was the food and ambience wonderful, our server Mars too such care to make sure my mom's food sensitivity to garlic was avoided with each course. Bottom line, great food, great service, great location =great restaurant!

While everything else was good, the food was OK, not bad but certainly just OK. The crab cake starter was good, but the fusilli pasta dish I could have made at home. There was just nothing special about it.

We really had a great meal on our first visit to Onesto. Mild disappointmentin the Brushetta, whcih tasted great but the toast was a bit overdone, making it a challenge. EVerything else was outstatnign. The olive appetizer was unique and very plentiful - enough to share with a couple people. Some of the most tender and flavorful short ribs I've ever eaten. The sausage and pasta was also great. FInished it off with a flourless chocolate cake that was sinfully rich! We will definitely return to Onesto!

Not my first time at Onesto and it has been better, was just hoping for a better experience than what I had though. I was happy to get a reservation on Memorial Day, as many restaurants are closed, so I appreciate the staff coming in to work on a holiday. The restaurant was not very busy though, with half of the tables empty at noon. I was seated promptly and my friends were running late, but I was not greeted by a server at all, while they walked by me and did not attempt to make eye contact. After sitting for over fifteen minutes I went to the host station to ask if I had a server for my section and that I hadn't been greeted, as I'd like to order a cocktail and appetizer. The host explained that it was probably because the rest of my party had not arrived. This is a training error. Patrons should ALWAYS be greeted by their server and offered water or another beverage, or at least to touch base and inquire about any special celebrations, etc... From here on out the service was just fine, but while I waited I really did start to get irritated watching other tables get seated, given water, and ordering beverages and while I sat ignored. The cocktails and food were fine. I ordered the braised sausage ragu with pasta and it was "meh". A perfectly basic dish, but I wish it had had a depth of flavor that wowed me. My friends each ordered the Italian beef sandwich, which was really more like a beef stew sandwich given the cut of meat and thicker gravy and flavor. They enjoyed the taste, but it wasn't what they were expecting. Will I go back? Probably. The location and availability are great. Is it on the top of my list? No.

Food was decent nothing special. Drinks were good, would maybe come back for appetizers and a few drinks but that's about it.
I would have rated them higher but a group of 4 people one order was wrong. One person had to wait for food. Other three had their dinner just about finished when the last dinner was delivered. There was no mention of a discount or future discount for the mixup and our disappointed dining experience. 🙁

Smaller menu that rotates often with homemade pasta dishes. Love the atmosphere as it has a lot of exposed cream city brick on the inside and nice warm lighting.
Just wish they had vegan options.
