Waitresses were cool as heck, I don't remember the name of the cheeseburger I ordered, but it had blue cheese on it and it was delicious, service was quick.

It was 4 of us and the food came out pretty quickly. It was good and we enjoyed it the only thing was that when the bill came out we saw there was an 18% gratuity added. Not sure what the policy is but I’m a waitress that’s my only source of income and I know how to tip and always tip 20% because I know how it feels so it was just weird how it was added on there and it was just 4 of us. And yes I looked on the menu and there was nothing there saying gratuity was gonna be added. But other than that we enjoyed it.

Best burgers in all of Milwaukee along with an amazing list of beers and drinks. The prices are so damn affordable that it makes me wonder if we're still in 2010s because that's the last time I paid for an affordable burger that wasn't $15 with no fries. The atmosphere is perfect for sports and hang with friends. You know it's good when you have Marquette freshman students going to the Southside for a burger.

Excellent service. Very crowded, atmosphere is a bit loud but friendly. We got seated right away. Burgers were very yummy.
Amazing burger and awesome shuttle service to the Brewer game!
We needed a place to eat after a Brewers game and found this place to be highly rated. We arrived around 8 PM. A great bar and pub restaurant atmosphere! The food was great, and you can't beat the price! Many beers on tap.

Easy parking in the lot Had a couple beers and ordered. Awesome burger and very fast service. Food was hot and fresh. Highly recommend.
For my final Lenten Fish Fry of 2025, I wrapped up the season at a familiar favorite—Oscar’s on Pierce, located at 1712 West Pierce Street in Milwaukee. If you’ve lived in the city for a while, you’ve probably heard the buzz: Oscar’s has built a reputation for serving some of the best bar food in town since opening its doors back in March 2011. They keep it simple for fish fry night, offering just one option—and honestly, they don’t need anything else. For $10.75, you get three pieces of perfectly battered cod, crispy on the outside and tender inside, paired with fresh-cut fries, homemade coleslaw, a slice of lemon, and classic rye bread. Want a little more? Toss in an extra piece of fish for just two bucks. The cod is everything you want in a good fish fry—light, flavorful, and not greasy. The fries are standout on their own: golden, hand-cut, and topped with just the right touch of parmesan. The coleslaw is creamy with a nice tang, and everything comes together into a plate that feels thoughtful without trying too hard. Only one thing’s missing—the donut hole they used to throw in as a sweet little bonus. It’s a small loss, but the meal still hits all the right notes. If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with reliably great food and a fish fry that delivers without the fuss, Oscar’s is well worth the visit.
Was never to Oscars before. I didn't expect that I'd be eating the greatest burger I've had in my Life. Meat was thick and juicy. Bun was clean and soft. Onion rings were hot with a firm dense crust. My friend and I were almost in disbelief. Staff was incredibly polite. Clientele, (place was packed), were well-mannered. I'll definitely be back. 10/10

It was a suggestion made by my daughter to grab a bite before attending a Marquette volleyball game, and it was a great suggestion. It was a typical cozy bar & grill that had plenty of parking adjacent to the building. The burgers were great. I had the big O. Super juicy. I will ask for extra napkins immediately next time. The fries were among the best I’ve ever had. I could be satisfied with a large basket of fries from Oscars. Although the service was just a touch slow, the place was packed. Overall, for the quality and amount of food that was served, the prices were reasonable. I will be back here again.
Kind of a hidden gem
