Person at the counter was sniffling over my food. And patty came out red/pink on the inside….
I would like to see staff wear masks if they’re feeling under the weather, or dealing with allergies. But the pink/red meat is disheartening to see.
Owner asked for an order number, but I wasn’t given one when I received my food. These text messages are the only proof of purchase I got for the burger. Patty Shack used to be my go to burger joint, but now I have to let my peers know of what I found.

The guys and I always try to goto here for lunch if we have time as we're working across the street the burgers are always amazing so many options to choose from to make it different everytime the fry sauce is addicting and the staff is beyond helpful and nice

I love a solid burger, and this place was so good. I especially love fry sauce (mayo and ketchup), and this is the only place I've been to outside of Idaho that serves it automatically.
They also have some cute games. Only complaint is that they don't have fountain sodas, but that's a small thing

Tasty burgers with the topping you want and need. Not really smash burgers, but beef and toppings are tasty. Pastrami, egg, fired onions/mushrooms, jalapeños are welcome options. Pricey, but good. Staff is super friendly, helpful and patient. Food came out hot and quick for our 6 top. Lots of Uber Eats and DoorDasher making pickups. A great addition to bustling Bay View.

The food is good. Easily top 3 for a burger in BV that isn't a sit down restaurant.
But it's so close to being so much better. The burgers aren't overly greasy, but the buns are immediately soggy and mushy, which just isn't pleasant. Different, higher quality bun would go a long way. The fries are phenomenal, some of the best I've had. But the portion sizes are a bit disappointing. A large fry is more what I would expect for a regular, and for $6-7, it's quite a lot for something that should be a pretty cheap menu item.
That said, they don't skimp on the size and quality of the burger patty itself, where most other places hardly give you any meat. You can get a triple, but it does start to get a bit too much at that point lol. Good problem to have.
