Got Tamales today from Pedro’s on Milwaukee in Lubbock and our cashier was an absolute nightmare. Very unfriendly and apparently unhappy with his job. Made our experience very unpleasant and we have been loyal customers to Pedro’s for years. His name was Hayden and it is about time that Hayden look for another job. Maybe in corrections. The inmates could teach him a thing or two.

Pedro's is so good! I have had their food truck at the Shorewood Farmers Market and at various events around Milwaukee. The employees are always friendly and the food comes out quickly. The empanada fillings are unique and delicious and the fresh chimichurri sauce is perfect. I especially love the arepas. Although the price has gone up since last time I visited (but what hasn't, ugh), they are SO good. I got the chicken tinga. The chicken was pull apart and flavorful, the arepa is a perfect pillow, and I loved the cabbage slaw with the sauce on top- it completes the dish!

Tuesday at Skyline theater at a concert, food truck was there. I bought 2 empanadas, a chicken & Cubano. My girlfriend and I both ended up with food poisoning from your food. Likely the chicken one because I gave my dad half of the Cubano and he did not become ill. Just wanted to put it out there to anyone else that was there that night and may have also gotten sick. We were extremely sick and ended up in the hospital needing IV fluids.

I was a big fan when I tried Pedro's food cart that used to be at Red Arrow Park. Just ate at their food truck at Chill on the Hill. My husband ordered the $15 tinga chicken arepa and while he said it was good, it was really small for $15- and we had to stop on the way home and get him a sub to eat because he was still hungry. I had the black bean corn bowl, which was about twice the size (also $15) and it was ok- not super flavorful and there was a lot of water/liquid in the bottom that made the dish less appealing.

Amazing dishes and specials. Had a group of 8 for dinner on a Friday night. Food was to die for and service was great. Try his special drinks, you will be very happy. Will be going back weekly to see what new dishes he creates!Get the Yucca fries and waffle dessert.

Pedro catered our wedding at Dandy and it was far and away the highlight of the night (besides us being married). Pedro was so polite and chill in the planning beforehand and blew all of my guests away day of. Portions are generous and everything is soooo tasty. We did some of pretty much everything and would recommend!

Pedro catered our wedding at the Urban Ecology Center last month and he rocked it! The spread he put out for appetizers, the entrees he served our guests and not only the quantity of food, but especially the quality was unbelievable. The presentation, the service and the speed were 10/10. Pedro, we will continue to support your business when we see your truck by Black Husky and all over town because we will never get enough of the delicious food that you serve. Thank you from Madi and myself, next gathering we have we know who we are calling ?

I tried the arepas here for the first time and was surprised how good it was. The meat is flavorful and plenty, the toppings of onions and cilantro went really well and I definitely plan to go back! I also gave the vanilla Thai tea a try and while I was expecting the vanilla to change up the flavor, it tastes like a regular Thai tea. Still a solid companion to go with the flavors of the arepas and I recommend it as a companion drink or a dessert.
