You guys should probably let people know that this location is closed. I’m visiting Milwaukee for the weekend and was craving some Jamaican food, so I made the drive out here just to find out you’re closed.

First let me start by saying when we arrived the place was fairly empty, there were a small group of 3 people socializing at the end of the bar including a young female that later was our waitress. We waited a few minutes before someone came over to assist up. The food was great, expect the cabbage which had no flavor whatsoever and the Rasta pasta was watery. Once we received our food the waitress continued to engage in conversation with the group at the bar never coming back to even check on us. They do already add 18% gratuity, which is insane for trash service! I wouldn’t recommend dining in.

Good food, with only one waitress, it was a little challenging to get served, so a call ahead of time is a good idea. They were out of goat, oxtail and plantains, and ackee and saltfish wasnt even on the menu. Brown Stew Chicken was good, but my curry tofu seemed like it was kinda congealed still. Rice and beans, and cabbage was good however. Clean bathrooms. So inconsistent on quality, but overall good.

Pepperpot’s food is really good. However, ordering takeout through Uber Eats or DoorDash has been disappointing. I’ve ordered from Pepperpot at least eight times, and four of those orders were incorrect. While they have replaced the incorrect orders when I went in person to get credits. I’ll no longer order takeout anymore. I’m a big supporter of Black-owned businesses, but I do believe orders should be correct before they go out. It’s frustrating to pay for something and not receive it the same day.

Went to get dinner , they were out of a lot entrees I thought was a little weird being it was on Saturday. So I ordered a appetizer jerk chicken nachos that barley had chicken, and I ordered two famous egg rolls and oxtail dinner. I was told it was a 30 min wait in which i accepted. I wanted gravy on the ithe side in which they didn’t comply. To my duo my suprise ,they came quicker than excepted Just to be disappointed 😔 very disappointing considering my past experience with this business. Oxtails had gravy and very tough. Rice and peas tasted hard and dry now I see why gravy was added. Do better terrible food . Never going back ..ugh Terrible terrible

Order delivery from grub hub food was amazingggg I got the oxtails with rice and beans and cabbage and the jerk egg rolls were delicious. This is my second time trying them and I can’t wait to try my next menu item cook was on point .

The patrons are very welcoming. When I first walked in I felt very out of place, but everyone urged us to come in and I'm glad we did. It was karaoke night and there was lots of talent in there. The waitress was very personable and friendly. However my drink was not what I wanted and she forgot to ring my friends food in so my friend ended up getting her wings brought to her in a togo box after we had all finished eating our food. She never got to eat because we were out on the town. Her wings ended up going in the trash untouched.
Listen, I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place left me no choice. I paid for my food, asked for a refund because the service was trash, and instead of help, I got rude vibes and unprofessional attitudes. To make things worse, staff and even a family member started snapping photos of me and my car like I was some criminal. So yeah, I snapped some pics back to protect myself — because I wasn’t about to be intimidated in my own business. I felt disrespected, uncomfortable, and honestly unsafe. The food might be alright, but the customer service is straight-up hostile. If you want good food with zero attitude, keep scrolling. This spot ain’t it.”

All Within 10 mins - brought the food and threw it away couple seconds after.
$28 oxtail meal -oxtails wasn’t seasoned and gravy was very water and light color(supposed to be darker). Tasted like package gravy. Overall have you ever had Pot roast meat not seasoned that was my experience.

This place was cool. My manager told me to go here so we went and she was right! My threes issue with this place was there was not enough staff, they added an automatic 18% tip, and the dj was too loud. It took way too long to place an order and I felt bad for the girl that was basically running the place by herself. The 18% was automatically added and then they asked for a tip on top of that which I’ve never seen; now we’re tipping 30% and with the wait it wasn’t worth it. The dj… just turn it down a bit and fix the mixing? The music was banging but dang it was hard to understand what was going on. The food was amazing though! Me and my buddy would say that the appetizers were better than the entre but it was really good! I would go back for takeout which seemed to be the vibe. Overall, I would get it again, just get to go!

The owner has some very distasteful workers in this establishment. they don't greet you, you ask for the essentials that come with purchasing food, like a bag, or sauce and they just get pissed off . I was a loyal customer up until the last couple visits. I will be taking this complaint to the BBB
