I had been away from Milwaukee for a few years so wanted to check out the new spots. Pilot Project stuck out due to the venue's decor and views; the in-person experience exceeded expectations. Nice staff, great beer, and tasty food (try the fish fry).

Is this place a brewery? Honest question. I logged my beer in untapped, and realized it was another brewery's. Looking at the list, that seems to be the case for 90% of it. But then there's 2 or 3 that say pilot project? Food prices are outrageous. Maybe indowntown Chicago, $16 for apps is ok, but not here. Also, we were at a dog thing in the deer district and wandered over to try their beer. No dogs allowed inside, and no flights outside. So I got a wit, but 2/3 in, it was warm. All in all, I admit this was a subpar experience and not the best they can offer. But with so many othe/r options, im not sure ill be back.

We had the most beautiful baby shower at the brewery - in the venue room. It was so much fun! One last Brew before the baby was due! The staff was so accommodating on the event day; which made set up stress-free! The planning process was a breeze with the assistance of Mary, who was always very responsive. The food and the beer, the NA Beer was so good! They even brought in special-sized pretzels for the event because I had a vision. We got so many compliments from our guests on everything. But the best part of all was watching the parents-to-be get to relax and mingle with so many people who love them.

Dang!We did a tour of Pilot Project with Brandon and it was so much fun.We learned a ton about beer and the work that Pilot Project is doing to encourage and support smaller brewers. It was totally worth our time and the admission fee. And the beer tasting and information was priceless. Congratulations to Donna on the one year anniversary of her Pickle Beer.

Tough Dock to deliver to, but thanks to Cory in the Shipping Dept. He continues to make it manageable for a sleeper with a 53ft trailer to blind side in from the street with multiple cars on both sides of the road.-Epps Freight-

Gorgeous space and the hard kombucha is my favorite!

An industrial chic environment that eloquently blends natural greenery into the aesthetic in a way that made me want to set up a tripod and just take pictures all day. It's truly a cool place. For those interested, you can also tour the brewery. Plenty of seating for all sorts of party sizes. I was impressed by the portion sizes and quality of the food. THE BACON IS AMAZING AND SUPER THICK ???

Awesome but a little pricey. Food portions are big.

Great atmosphere and even better beer! The fried pickles and cheese curds were phenomenal. And if you’re in the mood for a salad, they are the best I’ve ever had!

The beer here is excellent, as is the Bolognese pasta dish. The Rueben sandwich was quite good, and almost excellent. The bread was very substantial as it should be, and the ingredients were balanced just right. But there should have been more meat. The French fries were terrible and should be immediately replaced. And they actually chareged me $2.00 more as a side. The place just didn't justify the costs of the entrees.
Hosted a couples shower here and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From coordination, attentiveness of staff during set up, kindness and attention to our guests - everything was perfect! The beer and hard kombucha was a huge hit! Additionally the food was excellent - the cheese curds are still showing up in our dreams!

Such a great addition to Milwaukee! The food was to die for, the beer was delicious, and the ambiance is not your average brewery - it’s stunning! Will absolutely be returning!

Not good enough for how expensive it is. The place looked sterile, couldn't enjoy drinks because the atmosphere was off-putting. If you're looking for a brewery, try Lakefront instead.
