Absolutely horrible experience at this eatery. The staff seem incredibly unhappy and make sure their attitude rubs off on everyone around them. The food is nowhere near worth the high prices — you’d get better quality and service at McDonald’s for a fraction of the cost.

My husband, a handicapped veteran, went to the counter to ask about drink prices since nothing was labeled. The employee completely ignored him and kept fiddling with the register. My husband eventually had to sit down due to his bad knees, and when our order was ready, instead of taking two steps to hand it to him, the worker just called out his name and tossed it onto the counter — all while watching him struggle to stand.

No courtesy, no friendliness, and certainly no quality food. We will not be returning.

Pizza was ok. It’s a nice enough place to sit for a few minutes but nothing special.

Worst service experience, do not recommend. Middle aged woman with glasses, neck tattoos, brown hair was working cash register, I greeted her and before I could even order, she made a rude gesture at me and seemed extremely irritated with me for no reason. I was extremely kind and polite and was not expecting her response. Service like this damages business.

The woman with glasses at the counter was extremely rude to me before I even said anything. I found somewhere else to eat.

The food and drink were good. Bartender “Tammy” and her younger counterpart who was probably 23 years old……both extremely rude and talking smack about other customers. “Tammy” was asked to refill my wife’s Tito’s vodka and Cranberry….she didn’t use Tito’s and I asked her if she used Tito’s, her response was, you said a vodka….. why would a bartender not refill the drink with the same drink when asked for a “second round”.
Then, a guy came in at 6:40 and wanted a beer, the younger girl told him we are closing, but he could take one to go…. He asked to sit at the bar and was told he couldn’t.
We then confronted Tammy” who was arguing with another customer over the price of a glass of wine…..we told her she should mentor the younger girls and her response was also rude by saying and…and….and….and…
We confronted the younger gal about her poor customer service and she said “I have things to do”…….. rolled her eyes and continues to banter with us. Unbelievably rude and disrespectful.
If anyone cares, I’d be happy to discuss further.

The beer was cold and served immediately. The location to my gate was perfect z

The $16 dollar “Tomato Basil” sandwich had one 1/4” slice of tomato on each half, with one slice of mozzarella.

The side salad had melted greens… rotting lettuce … slimy and black. I was willing to peel out a few from my side salad but when I hit 6 slimy pieces of lettuce I asked for it to be dumped and opted for chips instead. Mind you, they gave me a new plate, moved my sandwich, added the chips and returned it to me. They dumped my salad from the first plate, and nobody addressed the bin of lettuce my “side salad” was pulled from. I sat directly across from the food prep area and watched for 30 minutes. Nobody did a thing about the expired lettuce.

This place is located across from C22. If you get this far down the C concourse and you’re hungry, do yourself a favor and turn around… go back to the Chili’s.

$16 bucks for a sad little sandwich seems to sustain a five person staff more willing to chat for 15 minutes instead of slice more tomatoes… and actually put them on your sandwich. $16 bucks for one darn slice. Sheesh.

This is a leadership issue; clearly there’s no incentive or oversight or product standards communicated to this sad band of underachievers.

Here at MKE 08/25/2025 0908 and ordered two pepperoni pizzas, two bags of chips and one water for $57 to go. Sat down inside while waiting on order and a lady behind the counter who appeared to be a manager told us very rudely that we can’t sit inside while waiting on our order. One customer was at the bar and nobody was in line. I would never give this establishment a dime of my money ever again as this individual is what ruined everything for my wife and I.

I fly between Milwaukee and Denver somewhat frequently. This is the second time I saw them turning ppl away 30-45 mins before closing - including ppl with small children. I was the last one they allowed to get take out food and ate out of the box. I mentioned to Sarah S that sometimes ppl fly for unfortunate circumstances like hospital stays and it would be nice if they honored the posted times for the restaurant online - so ppl passing through security know whether there is food available at the gate before they enter. Sarah said “the owners Bartolottas are old and can’t work technology”. Having dined at Bartolottas restaurants a lot and via my friends who worked at their restaurants in the Milwaukee area, I would not say this is a problem with the owner.

Pretty good little pizza for an airport bar. Service was friendly and kept my drink full. Seems a lot of bad reviews from people who don't know how to exist in public, or are upset they cannot use the establishment's bar/tables as they please without buying what is required.

Pizzeria that doesn’t sell pizza and the servers are not service oriented. Overpriced and not good. Sat at the bar 5 to 10 mins and bartender didn’t even blink or made eye contact lol, I had to call her over; the service here is the worst I’ve seen at any airport. How can I give 0 stars?

If you are the owner or an investor in this place — please read this. What happened to me today actively damages your business. I had to walk away — not because of the food or prices, but because of your staff’s attitude.

I was on a layover at Milwaukee Airport. My flight was delayed, and I was just looking for a calm place to sit with my large backpack and have a meal. There was a completely empty table right by the entrance — and it had been empty for at least 20 minutes before I asked to be seated.

The hostess refused to let me sit there, saying it might be needed for a larger party. That made no sense, as there were several other large tables available at the time! On top of that, I had a heavy backpack with me, and it was physically uncomfortable to squeeze into one of the smaller two-seat tables. I simply needed a bit more space both for a food and the laptop — and the table was sitting completely unused.

The waitress eventually brought over a woman who said she was the manager — but never introduced herself or gave her name. And things only got worse from there. Instead of trying to find a solution or show even a basic level of courtesy, the manager flatly reinforced the refusal. There was no flexibility, no common sense, and absolutely no effort to make me feel welcome. The entire tone of the conversation was cold, condescending, and dismissive — like I was being told: “These are our rules. Don’t like it? Leave.”

When I asked the hostess for her name, she refused to give it. I then asked her for the name of the manager she was calling — and she refused to say that as well. That, by itself, is deeply telling. If you’re doing the right thing, what do you have to hide? Identifying yourself should never be a problem in a professional setting.

I ended up sitting in the nearby gate area for another 20 minutes after they turned me away — and that table (along with the one next to it) remained completely empty.

Even if there were internal policies, there are ways to explain them with kindness and professionalism. What I experienced was the opposite — rude, unpleasant, unhelpful, and entirely unfriendly.

To the owner or corporate team: This is how you lose business. Not because of your food, but because of the way your staff treats people. Travelers remember when they’re made to feel like a nuisance — and I’ll remember this place for all the wrong reasons.
