Point Burger Bar Milwaukee Express

We used to love point burger bar. The quality has absolutely gone down hill. Menu is minimal compared to what it used to be. Music was very loud, could barely hear the people we were with. Beer glasses were dirty. Burgers were flat and flavorless. Onion rings were too greasy and pickle fries were burnt. Could smell employees smoking cigarettes.Very disappointed all around.

Host was super nice. Beer was cold and delicious. Food was mediocre. All buns were dry.Now to the happy hour.... On the 5 menus handed to us it said half price taps, rails and wines. On the one drink menu(that our waitress told us not to read because it wasn't up to date), it said half price taps, rails and wines(bar only).When we received our check, we questioned this with great opposition. We were told we should have known. That its clearly stated on menu and door. Door was held open for us by host(gentleman).Asked to speak to manager and he came to table. He introduced himself as Tony the general manager and propieter. Very swiftly told us how wrong we were and told me to calm down while backing way across the room(dramatic).He then tells us to hold on and goes to bar and puts on a company shirt with a badge that says assistant manager, over his street clothes he was previously wearing then walks by us and goes to kitchen and comes back out and stands as if he is security while we leave. We paid our bill in full but will not be returning.

Definitely a severe down grade from the last time we were there. Edible is about the nicest thing I can say. The burgers were dry, flat, and flavorless. The pepsi products were flat, and the beer was terrible. We won't be back.

Come see Anthony and his crew! Excellent customer service and the food and drinks are phenomenal! Definitely coming back!!!

Iv been coming here for a while now and I have had nothing but amazing experiences here. Great food Great general management. Definitely great place to eat Definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, clean...food was 4 stars, not great but not bad. Chocolate shake was yummy. ?

Poor choices in food poor cooked quality and lackluster flavor. They now cut corners. Not the same place it once was. Only good Beer.

The food and atmosphere was positively delightful. Full bar with a decent selection of draft beers. Over the best part of my visit was the wait staff, both energetic and entertaining. Definitely recommend stopping in!

Don’t recommend, the place was still open and plenty of people that’s not of color went in and got seated right away, when me and my boyfriend went it (were black) we got told it was closed and if we still wanted to eat it would be a 2hr min wait and the place don’t close until 10pm, and the current time is 7pm.. I don’t recommend at all!!!!!

This restaurant was extremely short staffed, but the GM impressed us! He would help wait on people the go back to to the kitchen to help to make sure everyone's orders were coming out. Excellent customer service.

I went in to place a to go order. I was never greeted at the front. I advised Anthony, who stated he was the general Manager, that i just wanted to place a to go order. He initially told me i had to wait at the front and not the bar to place an order because i had a minor with me. I informed him there was no one at the front to place an order. He then told me i had to wait 35 minutes just to PLACE an order. I asked if i could just place my order and leave and come back. He told me again i could not PLACE an order for 35 minutes. I asked if there were anyone i could complain to. He told me no, It stopped at him. I wish the downtown location was still available.

I try to be gracious about bad service given everything going on these days with the pandemic and labor shortages - but this too much even for me. The service was absolutely atrocious. Waited over ten minutes for a server to come to our table - went inside to ask about it - five minutes later someone came outside to help. Then waited even longer for soft drinks. The place has undergone changes and the food isn't what it was - and the menu us much smaller - hence the "express" title. Food wasn't good. Waited another 15 minutes to get check/ closed out. Almost 90 minutes for "express" burgers that aren't as good as culver's.

Very poor service by the wait staff and the "general manager" who kept boasting about how well he ran this location and one of the other ones either new Berlin or Waukesha but then couldn't bother to pick up the phone that rang and rang for 2 minutes. Place was dead empty too. The burgers are TINY. I've had better tasting burgers from McDonald's before and I can pay half the price. The waitress brought our check and had our total on it and then when we sent it with out card, she brings back a different receipt that she charged for twice the price. This place went waaayyyyy downhill. Stay away.

Omg!! The Pub Burger was the bomb!!?And the customer service was the best I've seen in a long time!! The manager was so nice. Had my service dog and he let us sit outside and he brought him a bowl of water. Thank you for the kindness?

Good environment and the service was very good.The food...not so much. What you see on the picture is not what you get.The burgers we got were these sad flat things. Good flavor in the middle but the edges were over cooked and dry.The cheese curds are an obvious sysco product. I've gotten much better at the same price from off the road bars in the northwoods.Here's the good one ..$4 for a rootbeer. And mind you, a refill will be another $4.I paid $10 less at Kopps the other night and the food was far , far better.
