I love a good potbelly sandwich, and while I know mistakes happen, I was really let down today. I ordered through Uber eats for delivery and my two plain provolone grilled cheeses arrived with grilled chicken on them. While I’m sure some people would love this, I ordered plain grilled cheeses and I’m a vegetarian, so I won’t be able to eat them. A huge bummer! I’m sure this wouldn’t happen in person but was a frustrating experience.

This location is perfect since it’s close to my school (UWM), but beware of ordering during rush hour because your order mayor be missing something. Even if you are, the staff is always helpful and ready to make things right. ✅

I’ve been a Potbelly fan for years—so much so that I’ve reached the Boss level in their perks program. Unfortunately, my experience with the night crew on 6/21, particularly with an employee named Diamond, was extremely disappointing.
My wife and I order the same items two to three times a month, so we’re very familiar with what to expect. However, tonight, her sandwich was noticeably smaller than usual—basically just a piece of bread with minimal filling. I politely asked Diamond if there might have been a mistake and if we had received a “Skinny” instead of the Original. Rather than checking or offering any assistance, she immediately dismissed my concern, insisted she knew what the sandwich was supposed to look like, and told me to either take it or leave it.
I was shocked by her attitude and lack of basic customer service. No attempt was made to resolve the issue or even acknowledge the concern. We ended up leaving the sandwich and taking our business elsewhere for dinner.
I don’t see myself returning to this location anytime soon.

Very poor customer service, they like to tell customers they did or didn't say things and deflect responsibility or simple mistakes and misunderstandings instead of (heaven forbid) engaging in basic, elementary customer service skills.

Popped in for a quick carry-out, and the staff here was friendly and engaging. The hospital is across the street, and the positivity of the workers was refreshing. The soup (loaded baked potato) was delicious, and the salad was fresh and amazing ( Thanks, Dez).

We went in around 4/5pm and wasn’t greeted with good attitudes upon walking in. When ordering employees were impatient and not helpful. The 3 employees I encountered while ordering my food displayed poor services. Both sandwiches were missing ingredients and were cold. I asked if they had dream bars and was told “we didn’t make any today” when checking out the cashier asked what I had and became very rude when I didn’t recall fast enough.

The best sandwich in the US! yes I said it. And for sure the best sandwich in Milwaukee. I've been eating here for 20 years even before they opened in Milwaukee - I would drive down to Chicago. They got it down to a science - from how long they toast the sub down to how they layer everything. I'm seriously addicted!

Worst experience ever. As I was walking to pick up my order at the exact time they said it would be read, they called to say nothing I ordered was available. I made alternate choices and asks whey it would be ready. They said it was ready now, they just needed to know what I wanted, and they would give me a coupon for the trouble.
I was half a block away, they screwed up the new order really bad, gave me no coupon, and said they did not have the cookie I ordered.
A refund would not make up for how bad it was. I wish I could give negative stars.
