The food was truly excellent, the service was top notch, and we had a fantastic evening! We had a slight preference for the starters instead of the main plates, but genuinely can’t go wrong. We orders many different dishes and they were all winners. Highly recommended you stop by, but it is a small space so make reservations. Favorites: mezze trio, fatoush salad

Everything is amazing! The staff. The food. The drinks. Milwaukee long needed a “home restaurant” and this is definitely it!

A delightful farm-fresh, Mediterranean inspired experience. The staff is warm and knowledgeable, the setting small enough to feel personal, and the food fresh, delicious and thoughtfully presented. So grateful to have Purslane in the neighborhood!

I very strongly recommend Purslane. We stopped in Friday night for dinner before a show, and it was a wonderful time. It started immediately with the cozy atmosphere. The service is friendly, fun, and attentive. The food was beautifully balanced such that we just had to try several dishes. The cocktails were the highlight, though, each a unique discovery. All in all, it is definitely worth the price for a standout spot.

We tried Purslane tonight and had no idea they’ve been open just a month… the food was fabulous and the restaurant operated like a well oiled machine. We could tell the staff truly care about our experience. We had amazing gin + tonics, the mezzo trio, falafel and the beef kebab. Each course was outstanding and we left comfortably full. We will most definitely be back!

Purslane was the best dining experience I’ve had in Milwaukee in a really long time! They hit the mark all around - I’ve always loved this space, which they’ve made even cooler with some turquoise paint & other details. The service was impeccable (Kyle had the perfect balance of professionalism & knowledge while also being very approachable & friendly), the wine list is super interesting featuring a lot of unique options from Greece & Eastern Europe (all crazy good), and the FOOD was so delicious (we over ordered & still cleaned our plates). The tuna naya was a standout dish with layers of flavor & texture & I had a red blend from Lebanon that was killer. You can tell everyone that works there really puts their all into their craft. I can’t give enough love to this spot.

Purslane is one of the best new restaurants in MKE! An absolute can’t miss- brand new East Side spot with people who CARE. The food, drinks, knowledgeable service and beautiful, cozy atmosphere make this a spot we can’t wait to come back to time and time again.

The kataifi covered scallops topped with strawberries were some of the most delicious and unique scallops I’ve ever had.
