Alright, folks. This is it. I mean it this time. Riley's has the best smash burgers in town. It is not one of the best, I believe it is THE best.
The beef blend is superior to anything I've tried lately. The bun is perfect. The Riley sauce is very similar to the Big Mac sauce except with added depth and flavor. I was very skeptical about their sweet pickles but all I needed was one bite to become very convinced.
They recommend the double for a filling meal, but the single is still an awesome quick bite option. Fries and onion rings were also great. Nothing about food here made me feel disappointed.
Ambiance is pretty basic, and I really like it. There is nothing special about this building. It is clean and spacious and very welcoming. Bathrooms are clean and the table was clean. Most table seating is counter-height chairs but normal tables are also available.
Service was beyond incredible, our server was very helpful and patient with us. They use Toast mobile ordering system (scan QR code to place an order). They also have self-serve Kiosks for ordering. Additionally, you can still order at the bar. Food will get delivered to your table either way.

Riley's is a great neighborhood bar with super friendly staff. The food menu is limited but everything is solid; one of the better burgers in Milwaukee! Both indoor and outdoor atmospheres are nothing special, but everything is clean and well-maintained.

I walked in there and was immediately greeted. She was kind and took my order and when I went to pick it up for to go the guy that was there gave it to me with a smile. NOW. I went there for the burger and left with the burger AND wings. I will now only go here for my wings. I fo there only for my burgers but now it’s wings too. They were perfectly salted VERY nice and crispy and the meat even had flavor and was juicy! I hope they MEVER loose their quality because lord. It makes a big difference and they have a loyal customer now. I live down the street and bring my two Shih tzus there a couple times and the owners were so kind. They saw me squaring away from the sun then went and bought Sun shade for ALL their tables! They offered me a chair in the shade and from start to finish were just amazing. A+. Seriously. 👍🏽
The food here was top notch. I ended up with a double smash burger and cheese fries. My wife got a single smash burger and she ended up getting a second which isn't like her at all. Worth every penny. Will be back again soon! The service was amazing, the food was amazing, and the beer selection was great! Inside atmosphere gives off a dive bar feel almost but the outside atmosphere is great.

We tried double smash burgers, cheese curds, onion rings, fries and drinks all were delicious! Burgers were juicy and jalapeño gave it a nice touch of spice. I'm not sure what was in Riley sauce but it was great! Cheese curds were big and tasty and fries had perfect crunch and spice. Onion rings were ok. Atmosphere was fun as we waited for food we played corn hole and had great laughs.

First of all be aware that this place does not take cash which would have been nice to know beforehand. Regardless gave this place a shot this past weekend and overall the food was decent and the price points are about average for any other similar type restaurant but their means of service and ordering is way overly complicated than it needs to be for ordering burgers. When we arrived we were handed menus (which were only drink menus) but then told the food menu was on a QR code you had to scan at the table of which you have to go through pick everything then pay through that which is the only means of doing this, it ended up for the three of us taking nearly 20 minutes to figure this out and finally place the order of which at the end had the audacity to ask for a tip and at this point we had not even been met at our table by anyone working there so I'm not even sure who's getting tipped. Now if you want drinks or soda or anything you have to either go up to the bar yourself or in our case the window outside to order separately, I only wanted water which was just in a cooler sitting outside on a table. Like I said the food was decent but did not come out all at the same time where one of the three of us got their burger and had nearly finished it all by the time the last one of us got theirs, and that person had ordered first, burgers were hot but the sides were cold. I ended up somehow with 3 orders of sides due to my difficulty navigating their ordering system. Personally I would not return, perhaps if they went to using regular waiters / waitresses to take orders to make things less complicated, but also I am one to only use cash and generally wont visit places that don't accept it.
