I started shopping here with the “start with one” principle. I found one thing I buy all the time — Oatly oat milk — and now I exclusively stop at the co-op for this thing. The price with member discount is within cents of what I pay at the supermarket. Stopping in regularly gives me the opportunity to discover other items. Sun-dried tomatoes are also the same price here. The Michigan potato chips are actually superior to any other potato chips I was getting before. And refilling spice jars when empty is both cheaper and better for the planet. I appreciate that this store exists and I want to support it. The staff have always been very friendly, and I appreciate them too for volunteering their time!

Love everything on the menu, glad they are back open. Wish they would bring back the chix fried tofu.

Very fun items! The truffle popcorn is so good. A bit expensive but I will go again. I'm out of popcorn!

This place would be great, it has a lot of niche products for select diets, and a lot of it is local. Pricing and staff is what kills this place. Prices are outrageous here, gas stations are cheaper. Even with the 5% membership discount most stuff here is just way out of my reasonable price range. Staff is not welcoming, and made me feel out of place in the store the multiple times I've been here. 2 stars because the corn soup I got was very tasty, but I'd be curious what's going through the board of owners heads, since this is not a good little corner grocery anymore, it's a specialty shop. Co-ops are supposed to be helpful places for the area, not an overpriced mini whole foods.

This is such a gem for the riverwest neighborhood! It's small, but they make good use of the space and carry a lot of products. It's mostly volunteer-run, and do of friendly folks. Their to-go cooler has some awesome sandwiches and other yummy bites. They also recently added a hot food warmer, so you can pick up a warm breakfast sandwich, along with their delicious bakery options. Here's to hoping they can get the cafe open for full service again!! Since closing post-COVID, they've slowly started cafe service again, doing brunches every Sunday.
