Best food in Milwaukee. I’ve eaten there everyday for the last week.
It was amazing! Our server gave us a sample of their chilis and moles. Their service and food was out of this world! The tortilla soup was also incredible.
They had great food and outdoor dining policies
The mole sampler is my favorite, gives you a chance to try 6 different savings. The pumpkin one is my favorite especially with shrimp. The food never disappoints and the employees are always so friendly
Great food, excellent service. A very enjoyable experience
Friendly staff and clean restaurant and great food
Chicken tasted "off" and I was still charged full price for it. Appetizers and drinks very nice
The chilaquiles mole is out of this world!
The best place to get Mole in Milwaukee. Also, the tortilla soup is worth the visit itself. The pumpkin mole with pork is my favorite.
Very good Mexican food. We ended up here after our group reservations got screwed up elsewhere. The staff was exceptionally accommodating. I highly recommend Riviera Maya.

We ordered takeout from 1840 brewery to share food. 60$ order. The mini chimichangas came as 1 big chimichanga..... And we ordered 10$ deep fried plantanes and they never came with the delivery.... The food was pretty good otherwise... Would never order delivery again from there though :(
This is the place to go for friendly service and good food! They gave us a "complimentary" cup of soup that was very yummy and hit the spot! Food was very good, place was clean and cute, and the staff was extremely friendly. I definitely recommend Riviera Maya as a nice place for lunch!
Okay but overpriced, skimped on the meat in my steak tacos.
Even though I've eaten at the old location several times and came away very satisfied, something about the new location didn't impress. First, we went on a Saturday night, expecting it to be packed. It was mostly empty. Other than a couple dinners near the bar, the main dining area was empty except our group. This is a Saturday night! Maybe because it was between Christmas and New Years or people like us, noticed the food and atmosphere were no longer as great as it once was. The food was so so. Even the once delicious Tortilla Soup that came in a bowl is now in what looks like a 1/2 cup.
Loved this place for years. Everybody should put peas and carrots on their rice. Perfect.
