A great restaurant right on the Milwaukee River. It’s fun to watch the boats go by while enjoying a fun cocktail and delicious food. Parking can be found on any side street.
Nice location without outside dining option. Good menu options. Food is average quality with good portion size. Service was very slow and inattentive. Took over an hour for mains to come out. No check in after apps so drinks were slow and off on timing with food.
Really cute sushi spot right on the river. Amazing location, really good service. Sushi was not the best I’ve ever had but really good for the Midwest and super affordable- our options were also limited to gluten free as my partner has celiac, which they have lots of options and were great about accommodating. Will definitely be back
Didn't have enough menus for the table. Didn't have glasses so we could have water. Food was pretty decent but a little cold. Waitress wasn't anywhere to be seen for long stretches. Place used to be close to fine dining. Now it's Perkins for sushi. No offense Perkins.
Really enjoyed our meal here, sitting outside waterfront.
The crispy spicy tuna rice was the best I’ve ever had. The margarita was really good.
The Rising Sun roll wasn’t my favorite - picked it because of being unique, but something fell short with it. The Queen of Hearts was great though. The octopus on the Machu Picchu made that our favorite roll of the meal.
Sat outside and enjoyed city view and nice summer breeze. Food was delicious. Large serving portion of fried rice, Superman rolls were very good too
Great sushi. Friendly service right on the water. Great edamame.
Beautiful venue for a restaurant. However, we hadan 8:15 reservation and by 9:30 all that was served to us was 1 appetize and a completely different glass of wine then what was ordered. Our server was nowhere to be found to inform us of why the delay with our food. After speaking with the hostess, she informed us the kitchen was very backed up and it would be at least 30 more minutes. After gathering our items to leave our server returns and says to us “so you want to see me” Seriously folks that's not good customer service. I'm sure it's a great sushi restaurant but the lack of communication by the staff was totally unacceptable.
The whole place had a good rhythm to it.
Sushi is always amazing. Cocktails were great. Service was fair. Waitress newer and did not know the menu. Felt rushed.

We had reservations and needed to stand at the hostess stand for about 10 mins before anyone helped us and everyone else just stood along side us nothing happening. About 5 different people walked by and said we will be with you shortly. We were standing so long the same girl walked by 3 different times and said we will be with you shortly each time. Sushi was ok all the fish was served almost room temperature. The sashimi was all just about room temp too none of it was cold not a very good way to serve raw fish. We will not return to this place no room for raw fish like this in our future. Also parking is pretty bad in that area. We wanted to sit outside but it was dirty and not open apparently.
This place is our favorite sushi restaurant. The food is insanely good and the drink menu is outstanding. Had such a great experience here for a birthday dinner and they made it so special. Highly recommend this place. We will absolutely be back
We've been several times and this visit fell short. It appeared that plenty of staff were working but the inside staff lacked attentiveness and urgency. The wait time for table side greeting and simple water service was more than 10 mins. Additionally, the food lacked in freshness what the markets completion offers. Cool vibe on the river but this experience solidified our dining decision.
The crispy rice tuna was very good, tartare style. We loved the salmon nigiri with note of mustard. We had the screaming tuna signature roll which tasted fresh- but took third place. I'd rate this 5 stars overall and obvi others have as it is very busy. We will visit again when we come to Milwaukee.
Our server was exceptional from the moment she quickly came to our table. She was bartending as well but didn't miss a beat. She was very friendly and the food was as good as usual.
