The owner is rude and the restaurant often runs out of food. The quality has noticeably declined since the mid-2010s. It’s surprising to see a place that once had lines out the door now relying on a GoFundMe, especially when public records show they’ve already taken in hundreds of thousands of dollars in PPP loans.

Kinda crazy that the best Indian (actually, Pakistani) food in the city comes from a tiny lunch place in the basement of a building connected to a parking garage. But it’s true. And while the atmosphere isn’t much to write home about, the food more than makes up for it. We’ve been coming here for literally decades and it’s never failed to hit the spot.

Don’t let the take out containers fool you! Food is fantastic and full of flavor. Owners are incredibly kind and friendly and the open dining area is super clean. Great value for money and super fast service makes it perfect for lunch. They are located in the lower level of the building. Entrance is directly across from Scandinavia and in between Sports Club Nomad and Room Seven.

Hidden Gem in downtown Milwaukee. Absolutely love everything on the menu and the prices are great for what you get. Food has good heat and a bit of spice which is to my liking. Great food! Will always always always come back for more

My husband ordered the Thursday special and got the Aalu Palak and Daal Masoor with rice. Everything was so delicious!!! We put the green chutney on our rice also. I could eat here every day. Highly recommend.
