It's costly as all items are priced separately.. but the food was good ..
If you order online be sure to check your food. Got all the way home and all the toppings I added no where to be found on the burger!

UPDATE Fall 2025: Last two orders have been an uncharacteristic huge disappointment...1. Chicken sandwiches were greasy, tough, and way overcooked. 2. And the typically great Shackburgers were full of gristle and inedible bits. Hope this is not a trend for SS.
Iconic NYC fast food joint in Historic Third Ward. Great burgers, chicken, fries and shakes. Good prices. What's not to love?

SmokeShack was good, along with the fries and shake, but the worn furnishings and frosty crew makes it a 1 star penalty. Plus the extra loud music was annoying too. I don’t mind diversity, but not at the cost of deafness. And ShakeShack is getting expensive too.

Watching the chaos behind the counter while the workers yelled at each other wasn't great when I was trying to order. Also watching the girl playing with her hair and shaking her ponytail out before handling the food was completely gross. Get your hands out of your hair or wash your hands! Disgusting.

This was my first time trying Shake Shack. I heard it's a specialty on the East Coast. It was quite tasty, but a bit pricey. Still, I think it's definitely worth a try! The cashier that day was also very friendly and chatted with us for a bit. I was a little tongue-tied, so I hope they didn't think I was rude.
