Atmosphere was great. Service was great. Drinks were fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone with particular affections for absinthe. One of the “speakeasy-est” speakeasies in town. The whole buzz in/back alley door experience feels very prohibition era. I loved it.

Great place to come for a quiet date night or with a small group of friends. It’s a small (intimate? cozy?) space, so for the sake of other patrons I wouldn’t recommend coming if you’re planning a dive bar-esque night out with a big group. Definitely for more lowkey and classy nights.

What a great speakeasy. Who would have thought that the experience would be so great for a speakeasy in Milwaukee. They have an extremely discreet entry in the alley. Please have a reservation and call via the call box to get in. It is a cosy space with great collection of cocktails. A must visit.

An incredible find for adventurers and thrill-seekers alike! This unique bar in a secret location was a true gem to discover. The ambiance of the bar is top notch with darkly dramatic lighting, everyone working was super nice and chill, interesting looking drinks... But my group of 3 just didn't like our cocktails. And unfortunately there was actually something about all of our drinks that kinda turned our stomachs a bit which caught us off guard and no one finished them. After we felt the need to get some sort of starch and detoured for unplanned pizza.Not sure what the issue was, we had eaten prior, weren't sick, not really a group of sensitive stomachs, certainly not new to drinking just... Something was off. I'll be back for the ambiance and the service, but I think I'll be sticking to the straight sake pours.

One of the truly unique places in Milwaukee, with a cozy, elegant, and authentic experience downtown Milwaukee. Additionally, they have a unique set of custom cocktails combining flavors and textures not typically seen in the drink scene. Strongly recommend reservations!
