Watch your card transactions. You'll write 0$ for tip and the waiters will add the tip themselves. Definitely not coming back.

The food was great . The service not so well. Waiter wasn’t being attentive . Had to go in front to ask for my check . So when I had to pay I didn’t tip. I paid the meal . And $18.21additional was taken from my card. So did she tip herself ?! I don’t think they have the right to do that. It’s optional

They charged us more than what we were charged for! Small portions for expensive price, maru is better! Don’t come here. It is a waste of money. Although they have nice aesthetics, that’s it. Guys trust me. I’m Asian myself, I would know.

Solid spot. Had the chicken ramen. It was perfect for a chilly Milwaukee evening.

Courteous and welcoming staff. Feels like an upscale place. The food is authentic and delicious. We came with a reservation and were promptly seated. We ordered 3 entrees but, it took them an hour to serve the first dish; five minutes later came the second dish then the third after another five minutes.
It took them so long to bring the food, that they brought us a little bowl of complementary kimchi.

My husband and I are both Korean and we’ve been on the hunt for some Korean comfort food. We arrived before 5pm on a Sunday, definitely offpeak, and the restaurant was at least half empty for the duration of our meal. Servers were friendly and attentive, but the kitchen was very slow.

The Seoul Beef Ramen (설렁탕 라면) was accurately described, beef is thinly sliced and broth seasoned correctly (albeit heavy on the black pepper).

The “spicy jjambbong” ramen (짬뽕 라면), however tasted like Shin ramen - adding two shrimp, pieces of squid, and one mussel. It was neither jjambbong nor actually spicy. It also took 35(?!) minutes to come out.

As far as banchan (side dishes), a single small plate of cucumber kimchi (오이 소박이) was “complimentary” for the table. The flavor was quite refreshing. When we asked for a refill, though, we found out there’s a $5 upcharge for it. Um. On principle, banchan are typically plural and part of the meal - they are not charged as extra.

I acknowledge that we ordered only a few items off the menu, so our experience may be skewed. But the kitchen is either severely understaffed or inefficient (or both? I noticed over half the other occupied tables were also waiting for their food). No ramen takes 30+ minutes to cook; if it was truly cooking for that long I expect a deeper jjambbong flavor to the seafood broth that was ostensibly lacking in this $19 Shin ramen. As for charging $5 to refill a single plate of kimchi…are the owners deliberately targeting clientele that wouldn’t know any better? Because this is laughable. You won’t attract any Koreans that way (but perhaps that’s the point).

TL;DR - is the food Korean? Korean enough. Does it feel like an authentic Korean restaurant? Nope. If we have the heart and aren’t already hungry when we walk in, we might come back. But the sad reality seems to be that our expectations for Korean comfort food in MKE are too high. How disappointing.

The food was really good. My wife and I both really enjoyed the food, however my wife got really sick after eating the Kimchi Dumpling Stew not because of poisoning but because the Kimchi they use for the stew must be made with a shrimp paste(common in making Kimchi). So if you have a seafood(shellfish) allergy (she's not anaphylactic so no worries there she just gets extremely ill) please be aware you may not be able to eat the Kimchi. I also recommend not sitting in the window tables during the afternoon hours, they don't have blinds on the windows. Other than that I do recommend eating here.

Before coming you have to make a reservation. My first time here and the waitress said there were no open tables anymore. So we left Momo me. And not all restaurants take reservations. Neither during the week nor on weekends.

The food is fabulous but DO NOT order carry out from here. They won’t start making it until you arrive to pick it up. I’ve waited here for 30+ minutes twice arriving at my scheduled pick up time.

I recently moved to MKE from LA, and so far sinabro is the only place I have found that helps ease my mind when im feeling homesick. The food is good quality and well made. Extra points because the restaurant owner and staff are friendly and welcoming I get take out from here at least once per week.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Authentic Korean food, amazing kimchi, bulgogi - everything was so good. It was a perfect combination of upscale and home cooked. Just like my Halmeoni cooks! 100% loved the atmosphere. Sit at the bar. We had the BEST time & the owner is SO personable! We loved Han!

Honestly my new favorite food! I am always hesitate trying new food, but this absolutely blew me away. The ramen bowls were huge portion sizes and included all the goodness- ramen, "rice cakes," egg, cabbage.... delicious!!!!

My favorite though was the teriyaki dumplings. They are AMAZING. I could literally eat them everyday.

This will be a regular dinner stop!!
