My visit to Sio and Purr Café in Wisconsin was a complete disappointment, leaving me with a bitter taste and a strong urge to warn others against wasting their time and money at this establishment. From start to finish, my experience was riddled with shortcomings and frustrations that overshadowed any potential enjoyment of the café. Upon entering Sio and Purr Café, I was immediately struck by the disorganized and chaotic atmosphere. Despite having made a reservation, I was kept waiting for an unreasonable amount of time, only to be ushered to a cramped and poorly maintained seating area that left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The lack of attention to detail and care for the overall ambiance set a discouraging tone for the rest of my visit. The menu at Sio and Purr Café offered a limited selection of uninspired dishes that failed to impress. The food was bland and poorly executed, lacking in flavor and presentation. It was clear that little thought or effort had been put into crafting a menu that would appeal to discerning diners, resulting in a thoroughly underwhelming culinary experience. In addition to the lackluster food, the service at Sio and Purr Café was abysmal. Waitstaff were inattentive and indifferent, displaying a notable lack of professionalism and hospitality. Requests for assistance or information were met with apathy or outright rudeness, leaving me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. To make matters worse, the café's purported main attraction--its resident cats--were nowhere to be seen. Despite advertising itself as a cat café, there were only a handful of cats present, and those that were seemed uninterested in interacting with patrons. It was clear that the café had failed to prioritize the well-being and welfare of its feline residents, resulting in a lackluster and disappointing experience for guests. Overall, my visit to Sio and Purr Café was a regrettable mistake. From the lackluster food and indifferent service to the absence of the café's supposed main attraction, every aspect of my experience fell short of the expectations set by the establishment. I would strongly advise against patronizing Sio and Purr Café and would caution others to seek out alternative dining options in Wisconsin.

Cats Cats

The cafe portion of sip and pur is good, however I don’t feel comfortable supporting this establishment.

Very friendly people, they care about the cats and potential adopters. Glad I adopted my cats from there! Very pleasant experience.

My boyfriend and I are looking into getting a cat soon, but we're both first time cat owners. We visited because we wanted to meet some cats and have the opportunity to hang out of them. Most of the cats are pretty mellow and just want you to give them some scritches. At the time there were also some cute little kittens up for adoption that were so chill. I was so tempted to put an application in, but we need to still figure out what we're getting into!We also had some drinks and the kitty cocktail was rather cheap and yummy. I had it without alcohol and enjoyed the cherries.

Cats are great. Staff? A joke. Apparently according to some of these reviews.... I'm not the only one that thinks so ?. Uppity arrogant staff. Bad attitudes. Non accommodating. Even saying a polite "hello" you get a sneer from them. How professional. Most people don't want to be around a staff like that.

Fun concept. Cute cats of course and the staff take great care of them. I had a meowmosa and a great time.

Fun place for cat snuggles. Coffee was good. Some staff seemed to be annoyed with the request to hold the kittens which was a little strange. Pretty place with lots of places to sit.

It's a cat lounge, its a cafe, it's a gift shop for cat lovers. Little gem of a place on the lower east side of Milwaukee that serves an assortment of beverages including coffee, beer, wine and juices, along with small bites and sweet treats. And the best part...the on-premise cats are available for adoption.

We adopted 3 of the worlds best kitties from here. Everything about this cafe is what I dream of. I make it a must to visit here at least once a month to see all the kitties or to donate cat food. This foundation is the savior we all need for cats that need a loving home.

Reservations are REQUIRED. Not “suggested” as the website implies. This should probably be adjusted. My family was disappointed when we arrived (along with several other small groups who were given the same bad news). The coffee was very good, willing to give it another try sometime, but pretty disappointed that the website isn’t consistent with their actual policies. I also tried calling a couple days in advance to get more info, and no one answered.

Incredibly overpriced - you pay just for entry (nothing else included) and rude staff - no flexibility, openness for negotiation etc. Makes no sense. Compare it to other cat cafes around the world when entry is mostly free and you pay just for drinks/cakes (cost a bit extra - cats experience included).Owners - something to think about!Update and reply to owner’s response:First of all - your response proves my point that you/staff are not cooperative: instead of doing your own research and figuring out how to optimize expenses to make entry more affordable you responded aggressively, like: “show me where it is!”. All information is online - it’s one of your responsibilities if you run successful business. Check neighboring countries, Canada or Mexico for instance. I’ve been in some cat cafes around the world and there are many examples.Be nice to critique, address issues and maybe you’ll be more successful in future ;)
