Please take a brush and soap and clean your patio. Please. I was an out state visitor 2/21, this place was recommended to us. You can tell this restaurant was actually good at some point and had great intentions but something happened and all love was lost. Smoky shack folks please be honest with yourselves, you clearly know this is not good good. Stop, look down at that plate and ask yourself does cold fat and tiny dry pieces of meat make it a bbq brisket sandwich? Take pride in your work.

Stop by Sunday, our server was Emily, such nice young lady ,I order beef brisket, was tender and juicy, and beans were tasty and cole slaw was creamy and fresh ,but service was professional and very friendly ,she is was service should be everywhere, thanks again Emily

The food is rich and flavorful, and excellent service but avoid the outside patio in the winter. The fire pits aren't enough to fight the extreme cold. You’ll end up eating as fast as possible just to escape the freezing temps. If you can’t get a table inside, I’d suggest coming back when it’s warmer or ordering takeout and you avoid an Artic expedition!.

The food at The Smoke Shack is always delicious, but what keeps us coming back year after year is the heart behind the place. Before kids (15 years ago!), my husband and I had a tradition of coming here in the snow—no reservations back then, and bad weather meant less of a wait and amazing BBQ. We’ve loved it ever since.
Last week it was snowing again, so we brought our kids for the first time—and wow. The food was as incredible as ever, but the service truly blew us away. Our waitress, Elaina, noticed two of our kids fighting over a single cherry on a cocktail toothpick and came back to the table with toothpicks full of cherries for all four kids. Such a small gesture, but it meant everything.
Every single person at the table loved their food, and the kindness and attentiveness we experienced made the night so special. Amazing BBQ, amazing service, and genuinely kind people. We’ll keep coming back—snow or not.
