Best butter burgers with sautéed onions and cheese. When fries or onion rings are hot, they are the best. Malts and shakes are like from the 50's. Mmmmm Mmmmm good. The short order cook Joe is so professional and attentive. Can't wait for my wife saying we can go again. At least once a month for over 35 years and every chance I got from the early 60's. Took the bus, rode my bike and piled in a car with my buddies.

it was Friday and they were out of fish...put a sign up because what happen next could have been prevented & we could have tried back another time. so I got a burger and was wayyyyyy too much butter, it was so much butter it was a scoop of it on the plate next to my burger, and the WHOLE plate was covered in oil/butter we literally had to set the burgers on napkins to soak up some of it.they just passing out high blood pressure and cholesterol & they all seen the glob of butter on my plate so places like that where they SEE the bs they do and don't offer to fix it or just do the right thing w/o a complaint are the type to give u a Pattie they threw on the floor or some weird stuff like that so I didn't say much ( didn't want to ruin it for the ppl I was with) plus they are very overpriced for the serving size $19 for the high cholesterol burger lbs the butter is BIGGER than the burger but probably won't be back

My first visit after hearing all the hype. Unfortunately, I found the service to be very slow. There was no wait to be seated. Just 15-20 minutes for our order to be taken. The burger was good, but for me nothing outstanding. I get the history and the hype. But my overall experience with the food and service was just OK. It did seem to be on the expensive side for the size of the burger.

Unless youre a drunk day drinking. Stay away. Ridiculously $17 overpriced small burger. Everything on it is extra extra. No service at all. No refills. No check up. No nothing. Waited 15 min to even get an order in and then they disappeared. Had to ask the host for my bill and left.

Had the double cheeseburger and fries. Also had the curds. The burger was probably the best id ever had. Better than Kopp's even. Service was excellent. Young man behind the counter was super cool and on top of his game.

The Peño burger is fire. Not as big as I thought it would be but it is very good. The fries were fresh, crispy and still hot. Definitely coming back again to try out the breakfast and other burgers. Our waitress was considerate and super cool. Mom had the grilled cheese, solly chips and chili. She ate it all and she said the chilli is very good.
