Amazing

Great spot for date night! We made a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was very nice and checked in frequently. Food came out faster than expected. The chicken piccata meatballs were delicious. The portion sizes for our main dishes were very generous, so we had left overs. Both dishes were great! The espresso martini was a little creamy, which was amazing. We were too full for dessert but definitely want to try something next time!

Recently I visited Sorella in Bayview with my mom. We ordered the rigatoni alla vodka, wood-roasted shrimp 'scampi', beet salad, and olive oil cake. The vodka pasta truly stands out, while the shrimp in the 'scampi' dish were impressively large. Although the beet salad had a bit too many beets, it still was delicious, especially with the addition of candied nuts and gorgonzola. My mom and I concluded our meal with the olive oil cake, which had a lovely balance between rustic and modern flavors. Overall, the menu has a perfect balance between creativity and tradition, making Sorella a must-visit spot in Milwaukee. Each dish offers an authentic twist on Italian classics. The service was excellent; our orders arrived quickly and hot. Additionally, the atmosphere is charming, featuring cute wallpaper and a vibey bar with an extensive selection of alcohol.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with my pasta the last time I came here. The noodles were a bit underdone, and the sauce was lacking in quantity and a bit of flavor. It was still tasty, but I've had many vodka pastas (one of my favorite dishes), and this one was underwhelming. That being said, I have been here one other time and had a really nice experience! So I'm definitely going to come back at some point and maybe try something new!

Excellent, authentic Italian cuisine. Excellent and friendly service. Everything about our dinner was well done, from reception through the final course.

We were seated at the bar on time. Service was great and food came out really fast. Everything was delicious, from the antipasto to both of our entrees. Cocktails were great and both bartenders crushed it. We'll be back!

Very cute place, nice ambience although noisy even on a Sunday - can't imagine what Friday/Saturday would be like. Very limited menu - not many choices. So, the kitchen should be able to perfect each entree. Chicken parm was overcooked, dry and does not come with pasta at all. For the price, it should. Not realizing this, I ordered the arugula salad which was nothing at all but arugula and a drop of dressing. Disappointing as it has been written up as such a great place. Not a great selection of wines either and overpriced.

Didn't get to eat. We showed up for our reservation early and they gave our table away. Then said we'd need to be finished and gone within an hour even though our reservation was 10 minutes ago and we were still waiting for someone to get up so we could sit. Why are we making a reservation if our table isn't secure? On top of people giving us weird looks as if we weren't welcome and the host repeatedly asking what he could help us with even though my boyfriend told him multiple times that we had a reservation, we eventually left. We were actually ordering food at another restaurant by the time they called and told us our table was ready. What a joke. (You can't find my reservation because it wasn't under my name).

Made dinner reservations Wednesday night. We got two appetizers, the Arancini Mortadella and Fritti de Mare. Both were just okay. For my main dish I got the Gnocchi Genovese which was very tasty and I really enjoyed the short rib and onion ragu. I tried the Cavatelli with Monday Sauce and I didn't really like the sauce; it was very thick and the flavor reminded me of pizza sauce. Otherwise, I had a good experience dining here.

Food was not the hype we heard about. Very disappointing for options on menu for Italian/Sicilian food . The appetizers were lame and boring . Very distasteful.

Place is so nice for a date night or to hang with a group of friends, Drinks were amazing, we ordered the chicken lemon meatballs for appetizer, I loved them, my boyfriend found them mid but said the sauce was good, My Bf ordered the rigatoni a la vodka, the noodles were slightly over cooked but the sauce was amazing!!!! I ordered the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and it was so crispy and flavorful, the spaghetti was actually really good too! We topped it off with a pineapple cheesecake for dessert and it was honestly so creamy and good. Our server Gabrielle was amazing and very attentive. We will be back to try the pizza next!!

Always excellent food and service. One of our favorite places to eat in Milwaukee. Some dishes are a bit pricey, but it is a more upscale restaurant and without a doubt worth every penny. Not a lot of vegetarian or vegan options if that is a concern, but certainly some, and they will work with your needs. And, always, finish with inhouse limoncello to finish dinner off - sweet but delish.

Crazy expensive but crazy good! Def a great place to treat yourself. Nice mood lighting, great pasta and the best red sauce I've had in my life. The food is really good. The people who work there are also always really nice and attentive but also don't encroach on your space so you and whoever you're with can enjoy each other!
