Ordered Friday online at 530 came to the location at 6pm and they were closed and they charged me but the good news is that he called me and made the issue right and the food was excellent thanks again

This was my first experience at this restaurant. The service was professional, after the staff let me into the locked lobby. The food was very good, especially the greens! I tried the Kool Aid as well and it was great, the taste really took me back! I do not live in Milwaukee, however the next time I'm in town and looking for home cooking, I may just stop by!

I love the food even though it’s not good for my health. If I want soul food I’m coming here, I as well live close by. They give you a lot of food for your money, I never been disappointed, food is hot & fresh, my favorite dish is the smothered pork chops or chicken with rice. I been to other places in the food wasn’t hot & fresh. Thanks Soul food restaurant, y'all will be seeing me soon.

The service was weird because you cant enter as the door is locked but I was let in to order. The young lady taking my order was really approachable and attentive. Beware yall, the owner/cook (who was pleasant) is Chinese and I was very skeptical about (Chinese cooking soul food) what I would experience from the food. Needless to say, The food was just horrible. It tastes as if it's all out of a box and the chicken was hard and wood-like. I spent $35 on two dinners and my mate expressed disdain as well. We will not be returning!

Ordered food a little before 4pm and the person who took the phone order said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Waited 25 minutes before even leaving the house and arrived at 4:30. The doors were locked and there was a cone blocking the drive-thru even though the business is advertised as being open until 5:00pm.
My son had to get out of the vehicle to move the cone. Upon approaching the window the woman just stared at me. She didn’t greet me or ask if she could help me. I gave her my order number and she told me the price. I paid for the order and she told me it would be another five minutes.
They make you pull around to the parking lot and give you a buzzer. She was very unpleasant and said, “walk to the window when the buzzer go off “. Currently there are four other cars parked and waiting.
This place is unprofessional and the staff act as if you’re irritating or bothering them by patronizing their business. On top of that my mother was calling and I could hear the phone ringing and they intentionally did not answer.
A woman brought my food out eventually and she did not smile, did not apologize for the delay, and did not seem to care. She wanted to see my receipt gave my food and then just stared at me. After a few seconds she said “buzzer “…and I completely forgot i had their buzzer because the thing never buzzed. She just randomly brought out food and had to guess which car it belonged to.
The entire experience was terrible and the food was not that great! The price for two dinners totaled $48. That was the last time i will be patronizing this restaurant and I will not recommend this place to anyone either.
Found the dressing to taste like ginger manager was rude he had a real smart mouth when asking for a refund. How is he gonna be rude and the customers are keeping your establishment open!

Now explains why their Lobby isn't open cuz they probably get plenty of people that come in complain my dressing was dry my chicken was cooked fried in Fish Grease I am totally allergic to shellfish and the fish my husband Burger was soggy as I don't know what he literally had to take buns from home and make up his own sandwich with the meat my husband and I are extremely upset we paid 30 bucks for this trash there's nothing sold about that kitchen
