People are usually nice here! Only thing is I can't have caffeine and I ask about 3 times for them to make sure its decaf and then it ends up being caffeinated.

Honestly have never had better experiences at Starbucks. I just moved to the area used to my Starbucks at home and was expecting your typical experience. However, I got far from what I thought was "typical". These workers instantly greeted me with a smile and a positive attitude. They were smiling their whole shift and have been very talkative with costumers including myself. My drinks here have never been messed up and are delicious every time. It is a perfect environment to come and do homework if you are a student. Thank you so much to the staff - keep it up:)
I came to this Starbucks on a whim with a friend after we left Canela Cafe. When we walked in, I seen all of the to-go liquid delight staring at me. I seen a beautiful delectable drink that I’ve never seen before. I asked one of the sweet baristas what it was, and she said it’s a pumpkin spice latte. I had an opportunity to hold and taste this golden treat and was sold. This is a wonderful gift for your tastebuds at any given moment during this Fall season. Enjoy . . .Please don’t forget your dragon fruit and strawberry refreshers with coconut milk and 3 pumps of classic syrup!

At this particular Starbucks I got 2 caramel ribbon crunches, they were pretty poorly made, there were no crunches in it, it was mostly milk, hardly any caramel, the young woman who made it was mad about something and she threw a container cover, I thought she forgot about me because I waited 15 minutes and she served several people who came in after me, when she gave me my order I said "thank you" and she turned on her heel and huffed off...the guy who took my order was very nice tho!

While I'm married to a coffee snob who prefers more local fares... My tastebuds always love Starbucks. I'm pretty addicted to it. So I've been to many locations, and this location was the first one I came to since we moved to Miwaukee in 2010. Coffee is what I'd expect from most Starbucks, service was average. But overall, the place needs a little TLC. Furniture is old and unkept (not sure if that's the look they're going for? like a mom and pop's coffee shop by a university?), shelves have curtains on them instead of sale items, and bathroom needs cleaning. Seriously, this was the dirtiest Starbucks bathroom I've seen in a while. Bathroom also needs toilet paper holders rather than a roll sitting on top of the toilet... and a roll without a hole in the middle, so getting some tp to use means you're holding the whole wad... but that means the person before you also had to do the same thing. Sink needs scrubbing. Piping needs work too. Hot water trickles down and doesn't get warm at all. Inconvenient in Milwaukee winters. I'm hoping the bathroom wasn't a representation of their cleanliness in general, since of course, I got food and coffee... but it doesn't instill much confidence. I'm going to avoid this location for a while.
This is a great place to get an espresso beverage when you are running late for work and you have no other options.

This place is a home away from home. The baristas are beyond lovely, kind and attentive. The service is wonderful and the ambiance is varied, interesting and inviting.My regular Starbucks in NYC and Los Angeles can't compete! This is truly my second AND third place! Like my favourite pub in London.Now if only the Cold Brew were as tasty as a pint of Guinness! But no place is perfect but the Starbucks on Downer comes pretty feckin close! The individuals who work at this Starbucks are the sweetest and nicest people in the world! Every time I visit, I leave with a smile on my face. Also, Kayleigh Beaver, the girl who gave a one star review and claimed that her order was wrong and therefore a hate crime, you’re the worst. I don’t work at Starbucks but I know that it’s a hard job. Crazy thing is that are/used to be a barista at Starbucks too so you should get it! If someone got your drink wrong, go back and they’ll make you a new one. Don’t coward away home and write an unfair review. Also, you’re white.

My friend ordered me an iced americano and when i got it it had milk in it? I never ordered it with milk. If i wanted a latte i would have ordered A LATTE. this feels like an actual hate crime.

This location and employees are absolutely amazing! Suzanne and Cameron were incredibly helpful when I had to come back because my coffee was split all over at work and made another drink for me. 10/10.
