My girlfriend and I went on a “fancy shmancy” date together, and we had a great time. The food was wonderful, we got the 8 oz petite filet and the chicken parmesan as well as two sides. The service was excellent, and our waitress was very attentive. The value, however, wasn't the best: the food, while tasty, was very expensive for the serving size, in my opinion. In a sense, you are also paying for the experience, so that explains the pricy dishes a little bit. We were also seated directly next to another pair on a date, while there were plenty of other open tables for two. Unrelated- but the couple next to us was really awkward :/ . Overall, we had a great time. Would recommend.

First time, all staff were so great!! From Lola checking us in to to our waiter whose name I wish I remembered!!! (He was French?) and the bartender. Cesar salad was chefs kiss! Highly recommend!

Had 4pm dinner reso before a show. Did not tell us until we arrived that dinner menu wasn't available until 5. Waitress tripped and spilled our drinks and then gave us the half spilled alcoholic beverage. Inattentive service. Brought apps and had no plates or silverware. Had to flag down staff for everything. Slow service.

They were completely overwhelmed and under staffed. Our sales conference comes to town the same week, every single year. And they are based in a hotel, so it seemed surprising that they weren't prepared. It took them 45 minutes to get us drinks, 90 minutes to get appetizers and the whole event was over three hours. One of the steaks we ordered was a porterhouse that was grey, way overcooked and embarrassingly thin. Another was a ribeye that was ordered medium and came out blue. Definitely would not recommend but if they weren't under duress, maybe it would be better? At minimum, management air-balled the anticipation of our conference.

We went to dinner here to celebrate our anniversary, and we could not be more pleased with our experience here. Every member of the staff from the hostess to our server went above and beyond for us. We truly enjoyed our dinner and the quality of the service we received. We will definitely return when we are back in Milwaukee!

THOROUGHLY ENJOYED STELLA for our anniversary last night. ALL staff from hostess to kitchen to Dalip (our server) and manager made sure our experience was personal and special. Ribeye and scallops were cooked perfectly. Crab cake app was almost best we've had (only topped by a secret recipe- I am a retired executive chef). The tiramisu was frankly the best we've ever had and it was a fresh take (and I mean it tasted like it was just made but also a unique approach that pleasantly surprised)! Hats off to Chef Bailey and his crew! THANKS TO STELLA and we'll be back soon!

Food was very poor quality. Service was average. Nice atmosphere maybe drinks would have been better.

Fantastic anniversary dinner! Our waiter Dahlip was so friendly and attentive. The filets were perfectly cooked and delicious with the truffle bearnaise sauce. The hot rolls that came to the table were so warm and fluffy. They helped us celebrate our anniversary with a yummy chocolate torte, I think. The ambiance was private and perfect, would definitely come back and recommend to family and friends!

Our server Claudia was great. However our wait time for drinks was so bad that the manager didn't charge us. Yet our meals took longer than expected. We realize that we were there an hour before closing but we had made reservations and if the restaurant was not able to accommodate us then it should not have allowed us to make the reservation.
