The owners have marked up the prices for the subs at this subway. I purchased 1 footlong club and paid $18… this shirt used to be $5… what a shame!

We went into this Subway on a Thursday around 11 am while in Milwaukee as tourists. Our plan was to get a footlong to-go; we would eat it later on the shore of Lake Michigan. We ordered a #1 The Philly footlong that we would share. This sub is described on their website as "the classic cheesesteak stacked with juicy steak and a double helping of American cheese toasted on Artisan Italian bread and topped with green peppers, red onions, and mayo." ($11.99 before taxes. 1000 calories). We also added lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, pickles, and black olives, and roasted garlic aioli (in lieu of mayonnaise). The sub tasted good, and survived our walk to the lakefront. My husband, however, commented that it didn't taste much like a Philly Cheesesteak. Was it because I added too many additional vegetables? Alternatively, did the restaurant forget to add the green peppers and red onions that are the signature add ons? Or was I supposed to mention those specific items? Whatever happened, it still tasted good! With respect to service, there was a line of about 4 people in front of us and only two people working. While we waited, I asked to get the restroom key, and was told that it was only for patrons. (I understand, but really?, we had been standing in line and we're clearly planned to order something). Otherwise, service was efficient but not particularly friendly. Ambiance. This location has a Subway "Cafe", which features communal tables and cushioned seats, as well as more traditional tables/seats. We noted that. While we were there, most patrons continued to use the traditional seats. A few final notes. We were surprised that napkins were not included in the bag with our order. Also, we did finally get into the restroom, which was somewhat dingy but functional.

Never again, went in brought a tuna wrap why why why is it $12.00. One small wrap for $12.00 no soda, chips, or soup ridiculous. I will never again but a tuna wrap from.subway on Mason street downtown Milwaukee

like most subways in the area they do not honor coupons, Subways are becoming nothing more than a bait-and-switch, a cheap way to get consumers into stores in the hopes they'll make the purchase anyway once they're already there.

I like subway, but had bad experiences at van buren& Juneau st. location. And they don't take any coupons, even subway coupons you get in mail. All other subways do, so I found a new location, recently moved , that is nicer. So it's been awhile,I quit for mos.most., after bad experience at van buren location
Good service and spotless clean facilities :)
