I spend a lot of time at Sven's Cafe, always great. Half sandwich and salad one of the best deals in Milwaukee. Soups are great too.
The owner is very rude to customers. The food is mediocre and overpriced at best, and the coffee might as well be office Folgers.
Great food , relaxing atmosphere
Love Sven's. Great Chai latte and unique sandwiches. Also have some wonderful desserts. They also have local artists work displayed. Wonderful place to go for food, drink and a quiet moment.

Great spot in Bay View! They have a large selection of coffee drinks, hot food, and pastries. Their coffee is great.
Sven's cafe has the best sandwiches. It is truly a wonderfully eclectic cafe, suitable for all ages as their menu has something for everyone.

The staff at Sven's are truly the best. They are just really really kind. Plus it's a small local place, which I try to support whenever I can. The food is standard small coffee shop, but made well. The dessert case always beckons. They have lovely cookies, cheesecake, tartes, etc. Yum. Plus a loyalty card.
Wonderful carrot & ginger soup along with super friendly staff. What more could you ask for?
This is my all time favorite restaurant in the Milwaukee area. I'm so glad I just moved closer. I love their selection of sandwiches and soups. Great atmosphere if you want to grab a bite to eat and catch up with a friend.
