We waited over 45 minutes for food. We ordered 5 different kind of tacos the only one i could differentiate was the chicken. All of the meats were dry and the tortillas fell apart and were greasy. Worst tacos ever

I ordered the carnitas meal and added the Elote bites only 17.01$ spent. Both were absolutely phenomenal and completely blew my mind. Being new to the area and just seeing this place driving around. I’m grateful that I stopped to see who they were!! Great food, Great People, Phenomenal service!!

The worst Barbacoa I’ve ever had “ very dry” and tasted like dish water The rice was hard and beans were probably old The tortillas and guacamole were good

I had the pork tacos and it was very bland and my sister had a beef walking taco and her meat was not fully cooked so she could eat most of it. Also, the bathrooms were gross.

So yummy. We got the beef barria combo's. They were so good. So much flavor, crispy but soft. There was just so much amazing flavor. We got a small casadilla as our side and it was loaded with cheese. Everything was just so good. Including the service. The gentleman working was very friendly, and he made our order. He was on it! Clean establishment, smelled amazing too.
Great food, friendly service and a wonderful spot. You can’t ask for more.

Birria tacos are good however they changed the menu- they now give you 2 tacos (instead of 3 ) and 1 side - price is extremely high for what you get ($20). This change is unfortunate.
Vagabond is the better option for the price And is tastier .

What a waste of time and money. The person taking the order gave no greeting, she had no personality, took the order begrudgingly. Then tried to order birria ramen... Out Mike's fried rice... Out Boneless wings ... You guessed it... Out Tried to order horchata... Out. Jarritos... Out Not a fan at all. In from Chicago and come to Milwaukee often but will definitely bypass Taco Mike's.

Updated (2025): Been back a few times and the food has been consistently disappointing. Tortilla is stale. Rice and beans are just okay. No authentic/in-house salsa. Look elsewhere if you want the authentic style tacos.
