Ordered on line, was ready early which was good, staff was nice friendly and polite which was good. Food was tasty and plentiful, which was also good. Only down side was oder was not correct. Requested no beans on nachos, unfortunately there were. Good but a bit soggier than preffered.

Outstanding tacos! Tried steak, al pastor and chorizo all with onions cilantro and avocado and all fantastic. To me GTO is the king of tacos in Milwaukee but Taco Stop is nipping at their heels. Solid guacamole fresh made not out of a bag like some other places. Chips are house made also and really good.Well done. Will be back over and over again. Tacos are king.

Tried a few different types of tacos and the elote and everything was delicious! Everything is very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!

Beans & rice are served in small portion plastic containers, luke warm at best. rice was oily and has a very unappealing acidic taste, possibly from its plastic container or cheap rancid oil...? A variety of salsas that do you no good because they didn't allow you to simply select them for any dish you desire; you're forced to accept them only by designated dish...what does that tell you about these communists....?cheap beverages extremely overpriced. Food served on paper plates that tear up on you before the meal is over from seeping juices (...thought i was done with that from grade school picnics). Paid nearly $30.00 for this garbage; save yourself the aggravation, go elsewhere.

Bright, clean, beautiful store. Super fast service. I got 3 carnitas tacos, corn tortillas. Loaded with juicy, correctly flavored carnitas. Fresh cilantro (you know how cilantro has that extra high note when it's just been chopped?) and crunchy-fresh onions. Salsa roja was a little mild for my taste, but it was done riggt; a great flavor and pureed tomatoes with actual texture. Side of refrieds was huge, really their sides are enough for two. The menu is unique for MKE where everyone seems to be doing the same thing; takes a couple minutes to sort it out. They even have chilaquiles! The price was a little on the high side but, as I said, the carnitas portion was more than generous. I'm happy to pay a family a quarter more per taco for food of this quality. 5 star recommend.

Overall, a nice atmosphere, good customer service and outdoor seating. Ample parking. A little pricey for the small taco that you receive though. They don't use the regular size corn tortilla they use the smaller size, not to mention you don't receive a lotta meat on them either for what you pay. The biggest disappointment was the diced, chunky, dry chicken meat that they serve for the chicken taco?? Its supposed to be slow cooked and shredded with all the traditional Mexican flavors! I could go to any taco truck near them and have a more authentic, regular sized taco for less $$. IJS.

A friend of mine highly recommended Taco Stop for their affordable, tasty, authentic Mexican food as she frequents the South Milwaukee location. I was excited to learn Taco Stop was opening a location in Bay View, however after trying them I couldn't be more disappointed. As mentioned in other comments, the corn tortillas were not only small but also rubbery. The chicken tacos were bland and dry. The chicken was not moist and shreded as expected, but instead dry, choped into chunks and an unappetizing pale white in color. The tacos cost $2.75 a piece yet the taco truck that always sits less than 3 blocks from my house offers larger, always juicey and tender shredded chicken tacos for $2 each, sometimes even just a $1 a piece. With so many delicious and authentic Mexican food offerings in Bay View this place falls significantly short of satisfactory and I will not be returning again.

The place was pretty clean inside and out. The staff seemed friendly as they aswered my questions about the place, food, and prices. Giving it a 3 out of 5 stars. The food did not match the price. The prices didnt match the surrounding area that sells the same mexican food. The taste didnt match the price. The food looked good but thats as far for me. I didnt even finish what we bought and went to buy it somewhere else (I know waste of time and $ but i wanted good food). The food was really bland. I thought maybe it was mine so I tasted the other one and it was the same. The other person with me didnt like their food as well. In the end if you dont want to drive a few extra seconds to another mexican food place then this is fine but not as delicious. Maybe ill give it another try later and see if it changes. I forgot to mention that the rice and beans dont come with your taco orders. They dont have a taco dinner per se. like other places do. Its also more to buy them here than at other mexicn food places.

I just had another very disappointing stop at Taco Stop MKE (bay view). I thought it would be a quick stop for my lunch break. After waiting nearly twenty minutes, I found that they gave my order to the wrong customer, in part because they don’t take names or give order numbers. Then it took a moment for them to issue the refund. Although they apologized, they did not offer anything to appease a hungry customer leaving hungry without food and irritated. Our previous issue with Taco Stop MKE (bay view) was a bad order of chips. We had an order of guacamole and chips that we waited until we were home to eat. The chips were made in rancid oil and very disgusting, odor and taste. I called and they refunded a few dollars, just to cover the chips portion. We ended up eating some of the guac, but without chips, most went unfinished and was thrown away. Also please enforce the mask mandate. You could have extra masks on hand for the few customers not aware enough to respect everyone. Otherwise, have any customers that does not have a mask, order over the phone and wait outside.
