While the inside was a little messy, the food was AMAZING! I got the chicken flautas and rice and it was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had.

La Sierrita was a pleasant restaurant. People were nice, and the food was good. We had a Tostada, a Gordita, Flautas, and Chilaquiles with rice and beans. The verde sauce was my favorite, and it enhanced all the dishes. While I enjoyed La Sierrita, I thought the food at El Tlaxcalteca, El Tapatico, and Tavo’s Signature was better.

I got a piece of wood in the sauce when I told the manager, he responded very haughtily that NOTHING IS PERFECT.It is the worst restaurant
The flavor is mostly there. The Langa tacos (del Mexicano) are great, full of flavor and I highly recommend them. The chili rellenos were ok, the folks responsible for de-seeding them skipped the step entirely detracting for the quality of the final dish

This place is so good and so cheap that I kind of want to keep it secret and not tell you about it. It is authentic Mexican cuisine made of high quality, fresh everything, and at pre-covid prices. The dishes are large and delicious. One of the only places that still has fantastic nachos supreme. The pollo a la Diabla is fantastic! Everything is homemade. Tortillas are cooked fresh to order and truly this is what a traditional Mexican restaurant ought to be: fantastic attentive service on top of all that.Vegetarian options: You could get a beans and rice based meal or vegetarian soups but fussy Americans would be out of place here.Dietary restrictions: My wife has crohns and everything (except the lettuce!) was fine by her.Kid-friendliness: There were happy kids all over the place.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level front door and dining floors.
