Amazing food and space! The food menu and drink menu are top notch! We enjoyed the Risotto and the Poblano pasta as well as some appetizers. I would highly suggest every thing we drank and ate!

Tauro Cocina is definitely in my top 3 favorite restaurants in Milwaukee. The fusion of flavors with Latin/Italian is unmatched for the city, the dishes are all flavorful and tasty! I love coming here for pasta and pizza, not to mention their cocktail menu is big and drinks never disappoint! The atmosphere isn’t anything special, more cozy than elegant I’d say. I would recommend trying to get a table outside in the summer if you can! Can’t wait to come back!

Still miss the place when it used to be Trocadero. Food was good and service started strong. A pet peeve of mine is when my water runs empty and that happened later on in the meal when we were more or less forgotten about until the desert came around. I had the clams with linguine in a red sauce. Clams were small and linguine was nothing special. They seem to do a good job with shrimp risotto which is what my wife had. The shirt steak from one of our friends looked good too. Did enjoy the drinks.

Tremendous place to celebrate birthdays with my wife step mother in law and myself. Very clean. The drinks and food were delicious. I highly recommend the Whiskey 🥃 Old Fashioned. Mike, our Bartender, ( we sat in the bar area) helped with drink selection and then proceeded to make us delicious cocktails. Thanks Mike. Run don’t walk to enjoy this eclectic neighborhood restaurant.

The staff really makes it special. The waiters were friendly and attentive, and Mike the bartender was the highlight: funny, full of great recommendations, and made the night even better (he does wonderful espresso martinis)! If you go, sit at the bar, Mike will take care of you! 🤩

We've been here three times, the atmosphere and food are amazing! Their poblano pepper pesto is great.
I removed one star because the first two times we went there in the past 6 months we had two very condescending waiters, one of which made rude remarks to my boyfriend. It was rather off putting. We considered not going back, but we did recently and the last time we went our waitress was lovely, I wish I remembered her name because I sure would shout her out here! It really shows how service can make or break an experience!

My husband and I had a delicious dinner there. Along with our cocktails, we tried two appetizers, our entrees and the mini churro dessert. We both enjoyed pastas; however we were near the pizza oven and they looked amazing as each one came out. The food came out promptly. Our server was attentive and informed us the restaurant was family owned. Definitely will be back.

Me and my girlfriends had an amazing dinner at Tauro thanks to their staff, especially Alberto. We were out for a Galentines night, and Alberto made sure we were taken care of and we had the most wonderful experience. When the reservation after us showed up, he made sure we had a seamless transition to the bar where he reserved five seats for us. It was a lovely evening, made even better by the great service Tauro provided.
