Came during a packers game, place was empty, got scared but then quickly found out that food was excellent, service great and will be coming back! Focaccia, Calamari, Chicken Picante. Everything is clearly made as it is ordered, great overall experience.

The food is incredible, the atmosphere is really nice and the service is good. There doesn't seem to be a lot of good Italian places on the east side, so I'm very happy about L'incontro

Have been to this restaurant twice this year. Each visit has been delightful, and the decor is inviting and gives off a great vibe. The choice of items on the menu is just right and has seasonal changes. Some of my faves were the kimchi arancini, the meatballs, and the pomodoro. The drinks are spot on, crisp and balanced. I will be returning again soon.

Polenta was coarse and very underdone and needed salt, between 4 of us we barely touched it, the worst we've ever had. Took it home to finish cooking and seasoning it. Short ribs were 4 thin sliced flanken ribs, over dressed with bland sauce; papperadelle in the Monday sauce were well over an inch wide, sauce had a good flavor but needed more liquid. Eggplant parmesan was not seasoned before being heavily breaded.

Pizza and focaccia were done well and tasty. Really wish we tried sooner with a menu they knew how to execute. Very disappointed.

We were disappointed. Short ribs were mostly bone, eggplant wasnt seasoned, heavily breaded, monday sauce was just ok. Pizza was solid, a bit too heavy on the pepperoini. Our server was very good.

Just had an amazing experience at L’incontro - wonderfully attentive service, extremely fresh and tasty food, and lovely dessert & drink options. We ordered the old fashioned, aperol spritz, Caesar wedge salad, short rib (OMG!!), eggplant parmesan, polenta, broccoli, and tiramisu - the short rib as SO good and the tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. Not to mention impeccable decor and vibes. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!!

First time dining at L'incontro and the chicken piccata was moist, excellently seasoned with just the right amount of sauce. And Emma's check-ins were perfectly timed. Please don't change the recipe bc it is officially my favorite restaurant and dish. Also, thank you for labeling food for those sensitive to ingredients. Maybe a GF pasta is in the works?

Such a cool, new spot! I’ve had multiple dishes here and loved them all. You really cannot go wrong with homemade pasta. One of my most recent favorites that I’ve tried is the spicy crab pasta(pictured). The service is attentive, cocktails are well curated, and the ambience is super cute. It’s a great date night spot. I’d recommend getting there early and grabbing a beer at their next door spot, Izzy Hops!

Our 2nd time there and I'd give it 3 stars, but it was good the first time and I didn't review it, so only fair to give it 4. We were a party of 6 at 7:30pm on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. We were told there was around a 15 min delay when we were seated for our reservation due to how busy they were. After about 10 mins we were greeted by our server and ordered drinks and an appetizer (Panzanella Toast). Server was very nice and welcoming, but clearly tired from the busy day. We got our drinks in a reasonable time and about 10 mins later placed our main orders. Server came back a couple minutes later to inform us that they were out of lasagna that one of our party ordered. Not a big deal. She was also going to check on our appetizer since it had been 30 minutes. From that point on, we did not hear from our server until after 8:30, when we were able to order another round and ask again about the appetizer. About 15 mins later our main courses arrived so we canceled the appetizer. I ordered the Sunday Sauce and my wife ordered the Pomodoro. There was barely any braised meat in mine and no meatball and neither mine nor my wife's seemed to have been seasoned at all. They were both bland noodle dishes, which is tough to take for $25. My mom asked for the pepperoni on her pizza to be replaced with sausage and they put a few pieces of sausage on it along with the pepperoni. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here because they were busy, although that shouldn't be an excuse. The pizzas were generally good, drinks were good, tiramisu was good, pasta and service were below average. We'll give it another shot since it's relatively convenient for us and the atmosphere is nice.

The meatball appetizer was fantastic. Absolutely recommend. If they added pasta made it an entree dish I'd order it every time. I didn't take a picture of it because it because we devoured it. Will definitely be returning.
