10/10 service and food! The food was legitimate Italian, and you can tell by the quality they are not cutting corners on ingredients! Easily my favorite Italian restaurant in the Milwaukee area! It's a must try.

We ordered carry out through the website. It stated they would bring the pizza out to your car The pick up time was 7:48. I called at 7:48 pm as I was outside. I was told to come back in 20 to 25 minutes. No apology, no explanation. I came back 23 minutes later and called. The woman answering the phone told me to come in an get the 3 pizzas i ordered. When I asked whether they were going to bring the pizza out to me, she had no idea what I was talking about. So I went in. I left upset and called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manage because I wanted to at least let him/her know about my experiance so he/she could speak with the staff. The same woman answered the phone and asked to take a message rather then get the manager. I told her I wanted to speak with the manager about my experiance. I waited for 2 minutes and then they hung up on me. To charge us over $70 for 3 pizzas and then have to deal with that type of customer service is disappointing. We will unlikely go back, which sucks cuz we use to order there quite a bit prior to the fire.

People always recommend this place to me so I finally tried it and it was delicious! Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name I think it started with an M) was very attentive and helpful with the menu. Everything we ordered was fresh and well made. I will definitely be back! All of the staff is wonderful, the owner should be proud!

I ate more than I wanted to because the food tasted fresh and absolutely delicious. I had mushroom pizza (the mushrooms were fried and covered the entire bread. Usually people put fresh mushrooms which makes a pizza soggy. It wasn't the case here. Little basil leaves made it even more fragrant and delicious). I also tried the Cacio e Pepe which was also delicious.Vegetarian options: They serve Cacio e Pepe, mushroom pizza, and margarita pizza. These are the vegetarian options available here.

We got takeout from here, not for the first time, and were sorely disappointed. We have dined in and gotten take out before, and it has been better in the past. We ordered the foccacia, potato salad, mushroom pizza, and bolognese. The entrees did deliver in flavor, although we felt the portion size for the bolognese was lacking. It was not enough food for my husband. The foccacia was simply mislabeled. It was challah, there's no way around it. And it was dry challah at that. The potato salad was...boiled potatoes and kalamata olives. You can get better Italian food in Milwaukee. We used to love this place, but honestly don't think we will be back.

My partner and I came to Tavolino with high hopes for an early Mother's Day dinner and left completely disappointed. While we understood that short staffing and a change in chef, the quality of the dinner was inexcusable. The portions are miniscule for their extremely high prices ($23 for six ravioli, $29 for a hand size serving of bolognese) and the flavor was the definition of bland. My partner was practically steaming from the size of his meal and the poor quality of mine. So unbelievably let down, and not worth the $60 dinner price tag.

New favorite Italian spot in Milwaukee an 8:15 dinner reservation was the perfect time to check out this spot because we had the whole place to ourselves! The doors opened to look out to the patio seating and the inside of the dining area was decorated with beautiful lights and vintage Italian artwork- so pretty. We started off with some drinks- obviously a dirty martini with blue cheese olives and a dark and stormy that had now become my mom's favorite drink per our server Maria's request. The burrata appetizer was to die for almost like a dip... the Parmesan crisp was so good with the pesto and tomato but the crostini were almost like a cracker. Didn't love but the flavor made up for it! I had the bolognese with rigatoni and it was so so good. Al dente noodles, seasoned perfectly with a ton of Parmesan- amazing. The Cacio e Pepe was the best I've ever had and the garlic fennel sausage made this dish a 10/10. The pizza was also amazing- fresh mozzarella, basil and plum tomatoes- you can't go wrong. The star of the show was the ceaser salad. Light lemony dressing with crispy breadcrumbs and fried capers? It was so unique and actually the best ceaser I've had. I would just come for the salad next time. It was that good. Such a beautiful little spot on the Eastside with great ambiance and wonderful food. All for a great price as well (always a plus). Maria was so cute and friendly and made the best suggestions. One of my new favorites

Our visit was ok, except for misunderstanding with order - my husband ordered Pesto pasta and wasn’t told it’s vegan option. So he ate cabbage stripes instead of pasta and ended up at my plate.Overall dishes were good. Far from Italian origin though, but of decent taste.

Best Italian food in town. Fresh and delicious just like in Italy. Great service and atmosphere. All the thumbs up!

This restaurant could not have been any better! Maria, our server, ROCKED, checking in every so often but not being obtrusive. Clean silverware was offered after every course. We had the prosciutto wrapped asparagus, Caesar salad, and split the house pizza and the pasta, with pecorino cheese...all cooked to perfection! We also had the two desserts which were offered! Great spot! Do not hesitate to go check it out!

The menu at Tavolino is very impressive, and I was initially very excited to try a few things off the menu. Results were mixed.I tried two pizzas - the salsiccia and a margherita with pepperoni added. The texture of the pizza crusts were good! Crisp, chewy. The flavor was a bit mild, though. I wonder if they'd benefit from a longer ferment time or perhaps a higher salt %.The sauce on the pepperoni pizza was not great and was quite watery - but oddly without the fresh brightness of an uncooked sauce. I'm not sure what brand tomato is used, but exploring alternatives would be warranted, alongside more salt here as well, perhaps. The salsiccia was enjoyable, with the Italian sausage (apparently sourced locally ?) and rapini pairing quite well! All the same, though, I did find myself putting on quite a bit of parmesan to help bring out the topping flavors.I did try a bite of the scarpinocc, which seemed the most impressive. Lots of incorporated flavors to explore, and nuance aside - just very tasty! The portion was *very* small, however. In hindsight, I would likely try and avoid the pizza as is and stick with other categories on the menu. I'd wager the other pasta dishes are great, although I worry that I'd leave feeling unsatisfied, given the high price and small pasta portions. The food here is honestly pretty good, but it falls short in ways that - for me - largely don't justify the prices, given all the excellent competition in the area.

Every part of the night was great. An awesome unique old fashion. Fantastic meatball appetizer and we really enjoyed the pasta and pizza. Plenty left to try, we will be back!
