Beautifully curated space, attentively cared for... the acclectic attention to detail is evident throughout all aspects of everything at Chef's Table. I have much love for all the weirdos that make this place so lively & feel blessed to be a part of the family. Cheers!!

Incredible place to host events. Dragons Sandbox does a D&D event here, about weekly, that is a blast!

We had a great time dining at Chef's table. We will definitely be back. The experience is half the enjoyment, the amazing food is certainly the other half. Chef David's menu was awesome! Stef and chef Alex highlighted each course and wine pairing for us. It's important to slow down and enjoy. The whole staff there truly make you feel welcomed. Certainly a unique, romantic, warm, friendly private dining experience.

Absolutely amazing location, building, food, owner, drink and experience. How did I not know of this place? Its a masterpiece and if you are ever lucky enough to be invited to an event here do not miss it.

Coming from a foodie town of Chicago and also chasing delicious bites, I was so so so impressed with the dinner party I attended this weekend. We were invited to a surprise birthday party for a dear friend, and I did not know what to expect of this “restaurant.” I leave the word restaurant in quotations because it was much more than that. It was an intimate dinner party EXPERIENCE where the staff blended in the background and it felt like our group were the only ones there. Everyone had a hand in the experience, from the bartender to the servers to the chef. They were unobtrusive, funny, helpful, and generous. We were in the upstairs room and there was plenty of space to mingle and move around. What I love, as a self professed window shopper, is how much stuff there is to look at. I am seriously jealous of Chef David’s eclectic collection of goods. I can get lost in all his secret rooms passageways and antiques. I could easily spend hours looking at everything in his office alone just like I would at Target or Hobby Lobby lol. I would give 6/5 if I could for experience.Food was amazing, curated and discussed beforehand, per our friend who hosted this party. He planned everything out with the chef, having some choice in it, but not all. Regardless, all courses were amazing and plentiful. You do not leave hungry. The crème brûlée was my FAVORITE PART. Oh, and the 4 wine pairings were good too :)Parking was easy. If you’re able to find street parking, there is plenty of that surrounding that location. Otherwise, there is a parking lot adjacent to the building. Not only that, I find it special when the chef comes out to show their gratitude and socialize with the guests. Chef David was gregarious and hung out with us as we meandered room to room. You can tell he takes great pride in what he’s created with his incredible team. The stories behind each artifact to why he chose what dishes to make, it kept me entertained for hours.

I guess I am just sad. My friends and I planned a RARE expensive adult night out - a fancy night. We got all dressed up, sitters for the kids, and headed out to what I hoped would be an amazing night. The food was great (minus the dessert) but our seating arrangement was beyond disappointing. They seated our party of 8 under the stairs in the basement next the grease catch. All night we heard people tromping and dropping things above us. The servers couldn't even reach half the attendees to serve them their food. It was dusty and drab. I was so sad for my friends. It was like being in a frat basement. At the end of the night our server told showed us a gorgeous speakeasy room and told us "this is the room you were supposed to be in".I guess someone better came along. We won't be back.If you book - clarify where you will be sitting.

Group tour. The chef is very ambitious as he told us how he bought the building and restored it. He showed us how to use and select knives and cutting board do's and what not to do with it. Demonstration on making a Holiday Raspberry Cranberry Jam. Tour of building and a tasty selection of goodies.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Chefs Table and the staff was amazing. The planning process was smooth and enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. From the walk through to see the space, to the special sit down with the Chef to curate a meal based on our food preferences we loved our experience. We highly recommend renting out the lower level for your guests to explore even more and get a richer experience with the unique touches the Chef put into that building!Chef David we felt the love made in our food especially the Beef Bourguignon and hope so many more guests get to experience the same.
