Always love going to the Ambassador Hotel and Gin Rickey’s! Erin was our bartender and server yesterday. A true professional like her makes this place a must do when in the area. Kudos to the entire staff for the warm welcome by all. 😊

A beautiful art deco atmosphere. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Susan L was our amazing server!
We really enjoyed our experience here last night. It’s located in the Ambassador hotel. My girlfriend had purchased a Valentine Day special, which essentially gave us each an appetizer, salad/soup, entree and desert for a very reasonable price.
We ordered our drinks first. I decided on the BA Manhattan and she ordered the Valentine’s Kiss. Both were very enjoyable.
As for food, she ordered the shrimp cocktail, French onion soup, filet, and chocolate cake. I ordered the ahi tuna, the strawberry champagne salad, the filet, and the churro desert. Food was excellent and we enjoyed everything that we ordered. Particular standouts were the filets and the deserts. Our filets were prepared and cooked perfectly to our preference, and we both ordered it with the portobello bleu topping (which was outstanding.). We both enjoyed the chocolate cake, but the churro desert was out of this world! They were so fresh and served with marshmallow cream and caramel drizzle. One of the best desserts I have had in a long time.
We were told they do brunch there. We will definitely be back to try that. Our server was Cristal and she was great. Very attentive and kind. The whole staff was great last night.

My girlfriend & I went out for a brunch date together and we were not disappointed by this place! Our server, Sulma was very friendly and helpful! She was great at her job and made us feel very comfortable. My girlfriend got the classic breakfast and I got the croque madame…delicious! We also saw santa!!!

Love with the food and the shuttle and ticket stub use perks there! Only thing to add that would be neat to see some more seasonal, rotating dinner specials.

Was served a bavette steak and they tried passing it off as a New York strip. The inside of the fried mushrooms was still cold as well.

We had a delicious lunch at The Fitz. The special was the Monte Cristo. It was amazing. And the fries were super thin and crispy. I had the potato soup as an appetizer. The sandwich was so big, I had enough for lunch the next day. Our server was super, and we were too full to try the 95th Anniversary chocolate cake. Something for our next visit.

First of all although there were several empty 2-top tables available they put us in between 2 other couples so none of us could carry on a private conversation. There was no bread served with the salads and when my friend asked for crackers at least they brought a package of oyster crackers! The chicken marsala was ok but heavy on the salt. I ordered a Southern Comfort old fashion sweet. It was just okay but when the bill came it was crazy. The drink itself was $9, then there was a $4 charge for a 2oz pour, then another $2 for who knows what, the word 'sweet' was in it. I questioned the waitress and she took it to the bartender. She said the $2 was for what they put in the drink. I asked like what she said she didn't know maybe bitters? Huh? They did take the $4 off but I never did find out what those crazy extras were for. I have never heard of such a crazy bill for a drink. I will not be returning to this place. And certainly won't suggest it to anyone else.

I used to love this place but the last 2 times have been absolutely awful. The bartenders are dishonest and will write in whatever tip they feel like giving themselves. Saw a couple whom overindulged and the bartender took advantage of the situation. So so very sad!!! So disappointed, I realize it’s hard to find help but dishonest help, there is nothing worse!

Food and drinks good. Service spotty.
Features: Oddly stingy on beverages. Health hazard.
