Tonight, I had 3 drivers cancel on me via Uber eats on another local BBQ joint after an hour- but ffffff does this place COME THRU to the RESCUE after my struggle! After an hour waiting in the other place who cancelled on me several times, this place DELIVERS! I commonly work in this area, and this place NEVER fails!!! They tried to charge me 18 dollars for a 6 piece wing and side of fries Food looked good but they have undisclosed extra Gratuity charges on your order when you pick up your food plus the regular taxes I was told I had to pay the gratuity charge and that’s how they ran the business so I immediately turned around because a tip is optional not mandatory!

The Asian Chicken was good and tasty, the only reason I'm giving em 3 stars is because of the service. I waited almost an hour for 10 wing pieces. Not even 10 whole wings. I love supporting black owned businesses but for me that is totally unacceptable. Overall friendly staff and I like the space it's just literally 10 pieces of chicken should not take an hour to cook.

My first and last time here. I waited almost 45 for a drink and longer for my food. They were understaffed and unorganized. I ordered the shrimp po boy and received 3 shrimp on a hoagie bun. Not impressed but the DJ was ?

First if I would have went to the restroom before ordering I would have walked out. Bathroom smelled like backed up sewer & lighting was very dark. The food was horrible. Pork chops salty. Advertised smothered pork chops. Which actually was can chicken gravy poured over them. Dressing dry & too much sage. Canned yams instead of fresh. Cornbread tasted like it was store bought. Disappointed. Best foods they offer is the seafood fries. Wont be returning. Clearly there’s no chef. Everybody can’t cook.

The food took a while to come out. When it did come out, the food was cold. We asked our waiter if she could warm our food up. She did, apparently, but when she brought it back the food was STILL cold. It tasted like it was canned food or food that had already been sitting out! On the other hand, the drinks && service was pretty good. I wouldn’t go back for the food but I would go back if I just wanted to sit back && drink! Respectfully!

The walk-in was very pleasant, tables clean of any debris, waiter well knowledge of menu & didn't have to write it down! Yesssssss, that good. Drinks & music were awesome. Thank you, staff and owner Darrell, for a great dinner!

Decided to give this place a try for soul food Sundays. This place was not good compared to the price they charge for their menu. At max their food should be no more than $13/ plate. My smothered pork chops were salty, potato salad tasted funny, meatloaf was burned, dressing was dry w/ no gravy and they gave me 2 dressings instead of collard greens. The only good thing was the cornbread and the mashed potatoes. Also, it took over 35 minutes to get our food and the whole place smelled like old grease. I really wanted to try this place but it was a big disappointed.

The food is garbage, when they 1st opened is was okay, but as time has went on, food has went downhill. Thought I would give them the benefit of doubt but the food tastes like it just get cooked and rewarded over and over until it is dried out. Gave them their last chance of me eating there again, I’ll just have to settle for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, at least I’ll know what I’m getting every time.

The jerk salmon sandwich was amazing. It still looks like the Ponderosa setup but was inviting. The staff was engaging from the front door on........side note the dj was great the whole time.
Parking: Plenty of parking, being real I did keep an eye on my car. I used to work up the street (4 Blocks), but they had staff at the door.
