Staff were super friendly. Brat and fries were delicious. Fries were some of the best I've had, just very fresh and crisp.

Good cocktails and beer selection. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. Incredible sausage. We tried the bacon & onion brat, the hot Italian sausage with peppers and onions, and a small side of the crab salad. 10/10 on food, drinks, and service.

Staff behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. We sat in the small bar area and had Ms. Rachel as a server. She was so sweet and attentive—we weren’t sure about much (not from around here). She explained menu items, made recommendations, and took care of us all while waiting on a bar full and other tables. Food was top notch. Milwaukee Brat was everything I could imagine! Calzone was big enough for at least 2 people to eat off of. AND they serve fountain Coke!! I’d rate this and Ms. Rachel 100/100 stars if I could.

What a great experience! We had lunch here and could not have enjoyed it more. Our server Rachel helped us select different sausages and cheeses. She nailed it! If you want to sample different local sausages, this is the place, as they have probably 15 different by offerings, all made at the establishment. Can't wait to come back!

It is a tiny place within the Milwaukee Public Market but well worth a stop if only for a beer. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed some beer and for about $20 have a nice sampler plate with three sausages of your choice accompanied by three cheeses of your choice and some pretzel bread slices. There were four of use and we could not finish up all the cheese but we brought the leftovers home.

The Wurst is a cozy little bar owned by and attached to the Foltz Family Market inside the Milwaukee Public Market. They offer burgers, brats, pizza, panini, calzone and roasted chicken. Rachel and Shannon were our bartenders/servers the two days we stopped by during our recent visit to Milwaukee. Both were friendly and provided excellent service. We shared the Milwaukee Brat. Delicious! The pickles and tomatoes were an interesting addition. The fries were crispy and ample with 3 dipping sauces. The garlic aioli is powerful, FYI. The second day we tried the Chicken Pesto Panini and the Waldorf Panini. They were by far the best Panini either of us have ever tasted. The sandwich is large enough to share with plenty of fresh ingredients, chewy bread and was perfectly grilled. Local beer on tap, cocktails and a baseball game on the TV made this a perfect stop on our Milwaukee walking tour.
