Definitely a little hole in the wall kind of place, a few tables to sit and eat. Typical kind of ma and pa sandwich shop. The service was good and fast, nice and easy to place an order. The price was fair for what you get. And finally the Reuben was pretty solid. I'm sure you can get it made how you want if you ask. It was a little heavy on the sauerkraut for me, but I can see how others may like more of it. The meat was nice and juicy and really soaked in the bread. I also had a Chicago dog and it was alright It was just a little cold. I'll definitely be back to try some other things. Overall I'd suggest anyone to try it.

OMG. I think I finally found my go to for Brisket sandwiches. I haven’t tried it yet but I never had a corn beef sandwich so I had to try that first I am so glad I tried it from here it was so good. I will be trying the pastrami sandwich tomorrow because he ran out today. I will most likely get the brisket sandwich tomorrow too. He is doing a little remodeling but no big deal.

Tried this place twice and the was fresh and was good. Went again today but before I went, I checked their hours and it said open until 10. After them being closed for a while. When I got there it looked open but the door was locked. No note on the door and this was at 645 ish. It's just disappointing because I love supporting small businesses but when there's no communication, it's hard to support. Hopefully this doesn't happen again.

Great little local owned sandwich shop. From the first bite, I could tell this guy knows what he's doing. Healthy portions of corned beef paired with kraut, Swiss and toasted rye bread. I will definitely be back for more!

I’m trying so hard to give this place my business. Internet info is scattered. One place says they open at 10:30 and I got there at 11:15, they said closed until noon. I go somewhere else. I see they do soul food on Sundays and open at 11, so I get there at noon…closed. I call the phone number…”voice mailbox has not been set up yet”. I’m not saying conform to all the social norms like a standard website with hours of operation, or a phone number that says the name of the business and hours when no one can answer, or even posting the hours on the door, but these might make it easier for people to try your food and give you some money.

Our first try at this mostly take-out location. Tried four items. Wow! Very impressed with the flavors and amount of food for the dollar. Italian beed was moist and perfectly seasoned. The cheese steak was a close second. Very lean and moist. Guessing nicely marinaded. Our third was the all beef hot dog. Very large and nicely cooked. All the bread was paired nicely with the Buns. Our 4th favorite was the corned beef. Loved it but a bit salty for our tastes. Served on a grilled rye I believe.Overall...the Italian beef was far superior to Portellos. Great food! Will be going back!

Finally got to Top Corned beef after reading several positive reviews. First off, the place doesn’t have much going for style points BUT, makes up for it in a huge way with its corned beef and pastrami. Ordered a Reuben half corned beef half pastrami and WOW! It was absolutely delicious!! Great portion. The meat comes more in chunks rather than slices which I think made for a great sandwich. An excellent seasoning was also shaken on the sandwich to give it extra flavor. The sauerkraut on the sandwich was actually coleslaw which I think also made me enjoy the flavors and texture even more. Nice crunch! Both meats were juicy and had just the right amount of fat left on for my taste. Lots of great pepper taste on the pastrami. Other choices were Italian beef , catfish sandwich, smash burger special among other items. I will definitely return for the corned beef and pastrami again. The only down side I see is the 12pm opening time. It’s a bit late for lunch time for me and I usually dine out for lunch way more than dinner. Still a must try if you’re a fan of corned beef or pastrami!!!
