We went here for the first time yesterday. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is clean. We tried the empanadas - both regular and gluten free. They were excellent, especially accompanied with the delicious sauces. We enjoyed them so much we left with five boxes of frozen empanadas and three bottles of sauce. I can’t wait to introduce more people to this great restaurant.

Phenomenal empanadas! Much larger and more hearty than La Masa's. Service was great (even double checked with kitchen staff regarding my tree nut allergy). They sell frozen packs for home too!

The drinks and food were amazing. I had never had huancaina sauce before and it was delicious: spicy, creamy, and the perfect complement to my steak and veggies. My pisco sour was also excellent. We were seated at high tops with backless stools that were rather uncomfortable. I would probably order take out often if we lived closer!

While I've only been to Bogota, Colombia, if you want South American ambiance, the quality of the food, drinks, and service at Triciclo make it well worth the price. Great value!Don't get caught up in it being labeled brandy... Prisco is awesome!

This place is amazing. The food was phenomenal, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was cheerful and pleasant. I'd highly recommend giving them a visit if you're in the area. It was just a great overall experience and I hope to be able to go back soon.

All of the food was full of taste and hot which you would think is a given but so often is. Service was great and server was very knowledgeable of the menu. Will try again highly recommend for a Peruvian experience.

While prices might seem expensive, the quality of the drinks and food are extraordinary. Truly worth the expense. Be ready for a treat! We have 2 Jalea Mixta and a Pisco Soar and Mojito Pisco, all perfect! Alfajores are to die for! Service was fantastic.

Flavor is slightly modified comparing to traditional Peruvian food, but still good!(Tartar, chimichurri, spicy sauce are tasteful)The place is cozy. Servers are very attentive also. Not a problem to find park on the street, (I believe they have parking space behind the restaurant.)Kids friendly. I would go back to try their famous empanadas and more.

Damn! This is a steal of a spot for Milwaukee. Having lived in South America for some time and tried different versions of empanadas, this. Is. The. BEST.You have to stop. And if the food ain’t it, we’ll the drinks are pretty good too. They do a staple pisco sour right. Plus they have a bunch of great spin offs.Only thing is that the menu is a bit pricey. But you’re paying for quality.

Great Peruvian food; lots of unique spices and complex flavor profiles. Had to do takeout (ordered end of the night and no time to dine in). Had the Pulpo ceviche (marinated octopus with I believe chulpi corn), Peruvian paella with shrimp and squid (with a touch of unique heat), and a delicious Ahi Tuna salad with mixed micro greens, beets, mandarin oranges slices, quinoa, and a spicy avocado dressing. Highly recommended if you want to add to your cultural flavor palette profile.

MKE this is a gem! The ambience and music was so inviting and made me feel like I was not in MKE (even in the winter time!). The drinks here were very good and service was really amazing for us. They only had one server but he was crushing it! The food was so good. I really enjoyed the savory wings and my favorite empanada was the sweet potato. I would definitely return! If you have not been then go! This place is a gem in the city for sure!

We normally go all the way to Milwaukee to do some shopping but this time we wanted to go there and find a different place to eat . We found this place and decided to give it a try, we walked in and we were given a warm and friendly welcome by moises host / server. We never been there before so he took the time to explain the menu to us ! I will tell you that the food did not disappoint at all!! The food was amazing, very fresh authentic savory Peruvian food. There is no other restaurant we want to go to when we're out there that is definitely our new spot to eat . We got a few different dishes and non of the them were disappointing. You will not be disappointed!!!

I'd like to think that I'm part of the reason that the lomo saltado with pasta and huancaina is now a permanent menu feature, instead of just a weekly special. (laugh track plays) with that being said, let's talk about the lomo. A delicious stir fry with nice thick cuts of tomato, onion, and most importantly, the beef. The quality of meat they use at Triciclo is grade A, juicy and tender. And the huancaina is spicy, creamy and pairs so well with all of the other flavors happening. I really can't praise this entree enough! I've also enjoyed the ceviche, which boasts huge portions of a chilled and deliciously lime-y seafood...soup, (?) complimented by big plantain chips for dipping. Empanadas? Gotta try em. Yucas fritas? Send them my way. Everything on the menu is top notch tastiness, drinks included. I recommend the Pisco Punch. But with all of that being said...the service is phenomenal too. It made my time here with a cherished person that much more special. Five stars isn't nearly enough to describe my multiple dining experiences here I've had from beginning to end, every time.

As a native Peruvian I am pleased to see a Peruvian restaurant with good Peruvian food. I feel like our cuisine is delicious and this restaurant represents it well. The prices are fairly priced, the food is delicious and the service was amazing. I don't live in Milwaukee but when I come back I will definitely come back here.
