iconic business focused solely on the betterment of community and the people in it. every city should have places like this.
Milwaukee’s gem! We’ve hit some hard financial times and this place keeps us fed! Plates range 0-$13 dollars. You can briefly volunteer if your pockets are empty. Home cooked with love, full balanced plates, and community connection every time. The food here is so good! They have a free mini pantry and give out local produce often and are always accepting donations. I feel so safe, seen, and cared for. Every city needs more places like this.❤️

This little restaurant is such a beautiful community space serving not only fresh vegan menus ever day but bringing people together. It’s pay what you can to make food accessible for everyone. They also offer a little shop and some produce. The owner is very friendly and interesting to talk to. Their logo with the lamb is an alternation from the Moravian Herrnhut logo in Germany. The food and drink was incredible- it’s an entire menu that you get and it was all plant based and delicious.
single vegan menu every day. today was mushroom soup, salad, brownie, lemonade or tea. everything was very good. lovely place, feels like a community center rather than a restaurant.
This place was not at all what I expected. I just googled a spot with vegan options and met a really nice chef that definitely delivered as far as skill but the menu changes everyday and you can either order what she cooked, or not! Might be taboo for some but it was so good that I will be back! Also if u go there and enjoy yourself as much as me, do your part 😉
Yes, Yes And YES! This place is a GEM, great atmosphere, great food, and Vegan omg. Even my non-vegan children find something they like on My plate lol.

Great vegan restaurant on the Northside of Milwaukee close to the Sherman Avenue neighborhood. This restaurant is a pay what you can restaurant run by volunteers. We had a sandwich plate which included soup, salad, sandwich, and cookie. We also had lemonade. We decided to eat outside on the tables provided outside because I had my dog with me. The food was delicious. I especially loved the soup with had greens and black eyed peas and the cookie, one of the best oatmeal cookies I’ve had! (Would love the recipe). It’s great to know there is a place like this on the north side. Beautiful funky murals make this corner attractive and inviting. Congratulations to Tricklebee Cafe on this great venture!
Parking: Parking is on the street. We had to park on a side street but it did not seem too difficult to find.
