This place was a top favorite of mine but has really went south lately. The Mac n cheese was delicious now it's bland and dry recipe definitely changed, meatloaf shrunk in size and was really salty very disappointed.
Okay I gotta give a shout out to Courtney!!! She did an amazing job!! So so sweet! The food was okay as well
Gotta love the fried chicken, the wonderful staff and the peaceful fun environment.
Southern comfort food right here in Milwaukee!
Tupelo honey is one of my must stops when I’m visiting Milwaukee, I’ve never had a bad meal here.
The biscuits are indeed that good, if you haven’t tried them, get an order for the table. Obviously they are quite filling. Everything else is right there waiting to warm you up with a blissful, warm, southern hug. Cast iron pork, Brussels sprouts, fried chicken, cheesy grits you name it, all fantastic!
I enjoyed this experience and the food was great 👍 👌 😋
It was my daughter's first time there, so I took her for her 21st birthday. I made it known on the reservation it was her birthday, the moment we walked in and checked in they sung happy birthday for a moment and wished her happy birthday. The food was amazing! The collard greens reminded me so much of my late grandmother, that right there alone proves and validates the authenticity in the flavors used. Over all I will give the experience and food 100/10 my new go to restaurant
Great place for breakfast Excellent coffee, great service in a beautiful upscale but relaxed environment I'd like to try more menu items My husband had the mountain breakfast bowl and loved it. I tried the chicken and waffles sweet and spicy and really didn't have the appetite for the dish. It was huge potion and well presented and seasoned nicely but overall a little heavy for my pallet
4 of us dined at Tupelo Honey on Sunday, 06/08/2025. It was our second time dining there. Our waiter was okay. No complaints about him. We just enjoyed the waitress we had our first time better. The food is good and prices aren't outrageous. Nice, clean restrooms. The restaurant is clean as well. The first time we went, I sat at the bar and had a drink while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. The bartender was great, very friendly, and nice service. The Bloody Mary is good! We would eat there again and recommend it to others.
Visited during downtown dining week so it was definitely expected to be busy. Food was tasty and well prepared - our server was hilarious and super attentive.
Great experience with my work colleagues trying this restaurant during Milwaukee dining week. I suspect we'll put Tupelo on our monthly lunch rotation.

We waited longer for food. That was the only issue and normally food is brought out at a quicker speed.
First time here during Downtown Dining week and food, service, value and ambiance were all great.
Our bartender was amazing very friendly and attentive. The food was incredible. The hot honey chicken and waffles was amazing as was the shrimp and grits, highly recommend!
Fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, greens, and banana pudding - What more can do you need?
Delicious! I had the shrimp and grits. So many more dishes I wanted to try. If I get back to Milwaukee I will for sure stop back in.
