10/10! Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Everything was amazing and it was a wonderful place to eat before enjoying a show after.

Turning Tables is a hands-on learning kitchen which means there's definitely a lot of room for improvement. My family stopped in yesterday before an Admiral's game. It was an odd time of day so there weren't too many people there for a meal yet but despite that fact, our server seemed to be rushed to the point she didn't know whether she was coming or going. The burgers and jerk egg rolls were severely overcooked, the wings were completely flavourless, we had to ask repeatedly for simple accommodations such as napkins and silverware and in the meantime the food sat on the table getting cold. We spent half an hour waiting on the drinks from the bar as well. To top it off, another server dumped an entire tray of beverages at a nearby table and while she cleaned up the broken glass, spilled liquid was all over the floor and nothing was done about it. They're lucky a guest didn't fall and get hurt! Yesterday was just a comedy of errors and as someone who also works in food/customer service I realize that all establishments have an "off" day from time to time. I doubt we'll be going back anytime soon, but hopefully not all their weekend shifts are so poorly run or it will be difficult to train the chefs and servers of tomorrow.

Made reservations for dinner prior to a show at the High Life Theater. Reservations confirmed on email and even sent me a text an hour prior to reservation time to confirm however when I arrived I was told the kitchen was closed due to lack of help. I understand the shortage and unreliability of staff but a little communication goes a long way. I was asked to confirm my reservation so I'd expect notification of canceling my reservation.

I came to this place to enjoy a dinner with my family before a Bucks game. Game started at 7 and we arrived by 5. We waited for 5 minutes before we were acknowledged and then waited another 5 minutes to be seated. Restaurant seemed marginally busy at the time. Server came out 5 minutes later with menus. We ordered drinks (4 sodas) which came in a reasonable time, however, two tasted like they contained alcohol. Server came back in about 10 minutes to take our food order. Seems to struggle to get it right. Our appetizer arrived in 20 minutes without any silverware, napkins or plates. The tables around us still had not received food and they were becoming disgruntled. After an hour the table behind us was getting up to leave when the server arrived, stating she was just about to plate their food. She walked away and they began talking loudly, to the table across from us, who were also getting up to leave, as the food they ordered came out incorrect. Both tables left. The server came out with 2 of their plates - rice bowls which appeared to be the same, but different amounts of food. She mumbled that we could have it if we wanted and just left it on our table. Really? We didn't order anything like this. After another 5 minutes, she came out with 2 of our meals - bowls of mac and cheese. Both looked slightly burnt and contained different amounts. We still didn't have silverware or napkins. My daughter immediately noticed a hair directly on top of her mac and cheese. Not just any hair either! Gross!!! When our server came back - mind you, she didn't even have our other meals, we told her we were leaving. She didn't even seem phased by this. We got to the game, 2 minutes before it started. Guess we are eating here instead. In a matter of a 1/2 hour, you lost over $200 in sales. Having been at the "old" Turners in the past, wow - what a drastic change. I get the restaurant concept that you are looking for, but I can say for certain, this is far from how you will get there! Management needs to make some big changes!

Was seated at 530, didn't get our burgers until 7pm. Everything we ordered was wrong, including the drinks. Had to ask repeatedly for menus, despite having a dinner reservation and a table in the dining room (not at the bar.) The tables next to us had the same issues. We were all headed to the same event at Turner Hall that started at 7, so we were all late.If under staffed, this business should close a dining room so that they can provide service to their customers that doesn't overload staff. They clearly only had 2 servers for the whole place. I would have staffed it with at least 6 plus 2 bartenders and a bar back to support the crowds on a Buck's game night when there is also an event upstairs. The owners need to step up and put boots in the dining room to see how hard their staff is working! They've been set up to fail, which is a shame. Our server was trying her best.

Do not waste your time or money on this establishment. I am a former employee at Turning Tables. On my first day of work, I was not trained and all of a sudden two groups of 50 people from Northwestern Mutual came in for a catered lunch that my manager forgot about. I was the only person scheduled. None of the food was ready and I was running around an unfamiliar restaurant trying to help as best as I could. Each time I worked, I noticed that the system in which the restaurant and kitchen ran was not normal. The owner is the only cook and the co-owner, his wife, was always dressed very inappropriately for work even though the wait staff was expected to wear collared shirts and slacks. I only served one table in all of my time working there and it took about 45 minutes for these customers to get their food even though they were the only table in the whole restaurant. Once again, there was rarely a manager/owner around to train me.

Horrible. No management, staff was HORRIBLE. We paid for a reservation weeks in advance. 6pm dinner for a 730pm show. We ended up waiting u til 6:50 before giving up on a waitress ever coming to our table. Twice we got up and found another waitress, twice they said they would go 'find the person who's supposed to serve our table'. Then we watched them not do that. What a horrible feeling. I've honestly never been treated so poorly as a guest somewhere, let alone a place we paid to reserve in advance. Family came from out of town for the night. It was horrible. We ended up ordering pizza locally on grub hub and getting to the show late. Absolutely no excuse.

Don’t go here. RUN!!! My family drove in from out of state for dinner and a show. They were taking reservations only which we had paid to reserve months in advance. After being seated, that’s all we got to experience…sitting. 25min go by and we see tables around us getting waited on at least 4 times. We asked the waitress if someone could wait on us. She said she “didn’t know who seated us”, left us, and see her run to the back of the kitchen and hide. Great solution. We ask more staff…same thing of hiding in the kitchen. 45min go past and still no wait, we grabbed drinks from the bar and asked to talk to the manager. There’s no MANAGER!!! Then I’m overhearing how they don’t care about reservations and to just let people in. So they have overpriced food that I expect is cold and awful after that kind of kitchen wait, drinks are under poured for the price, and staff are oblivious to problem solving. After 45min of chasing waitresses, we ended up ordering food to be delivered instead from the pizza place next door amd ended up getting to our show VERY late. This place needs Gordon Ramsey to come in and SHUT IT DOWN!

We had a reservation at 5:45 for 6 people. We waited 15 minutes for a server and another 30 for our drinks. We were told the bar was extremely busy and backed up. It would seem to me that your dining customers should get priority bar service over walk in customers, But apparently not. We ordered our food around 6:15 and told the waitress that we were going to the MU game which started at 8:00 pm. We waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for our food. We were continually told that our order was up next. At 7:35, the food still hadn't come yet so we decided to leave. I looked for our waitress but couldn't find her anywhere. We left cash to pay for our drinks and had a hot dog at the game. Our table had no silverware, drinks took too long and were incorrect, and no one could explain the reason for the delay. Multiple people in our section left before their food came out as well. Never seen anything like this. Very disappointing and will not be going back.

On a Saturday, made a reservation for 6:00pm to eat dinner before a 7:30pm show. We arrived at 6:00pm and were seated quickly. Then the hostess dissappeared. No one came to our table. We couldn't find a waitress, two waitresses said they would find the waitress was supposed to attend our table, one at 6:20, another at 6:25. at 6:50 we gave up and quickly grubhubbed pizza from a nearby place. No management, no staff wanted to help. They could've at leasted warned us or said SOMETHING, so that my family didn't have to sit there for almost an hour. We are going to have to get to the show late, but we paid for tickets in advance and family came in from out of town for what was supposed to be a good evening.

Turn around and leave from Turning Tables. Service is horrible and nobody that works here seems to know what they are doing. I would give a zero star rating if I could. We waited 90 minutes and never even received our meals. The drinks were watered down and I was overcharged for them. Our waitress was MIA along with our meals. We ate here a couple of years ago and it was great. Far different experience this time around. I will not make the same mistake again and suggest anyone reading this avoids this establishment.

Don't waste your time. We waited over an hour for cold food. The waitress was MIA. Went to the bar to order a vodka press and got tequila in a copper mug . Was over charged for 3 beverages- each drink was 7 dollars each for a total of 21$ but we were charged 38$. The absolute worst experience I have ever had dining. | Service:

If I could give it 0 stars I would, but Yelp makes me rate at least 1. We went out of convenience because there was a comedy show upstairs. Pros: we were seated immediately. Drinks came out super quick. Dining code A as of this post. Restaurant was not busy during the dinner rush Cons: waitress was snippy. (But, she seemed short due to the errors with our order) - We ordered our over priced food, and as a table of 3, each of our food orders came out separately. It took 30 minutes to get our appetizers. Then, I think they forgot about us. It took another 20 minutes to get a wrap (with fries) minus the fries... after asking, those came out 10 minutes later. 3 egg rolls (which were absolutely terrible) they were definitely sitting on the line for a while and mildly warm, about 15 minutes after that. A rice bowl was going to be an additional 10 minutes because they needed to cook the chicken. That eventually came out later than the 10 minutes given. The manager said he would comp the rice bowl due to the kitchens error. We were however, compensated free sweet potato tots to munch on while waiting for our food. When we got our checks finally. ($22 for a drink and fried green beans..Whoa!!!) Then, we noticed that each of us were charged for a 3rd of said rice bowl. It was never really comped. We did advise the waitress with the error, and it was fixed. Yes things happen I suppose, and maybe had the food been better, that would've been made the wait worth it. I would not visit again, nor would I recommend going.....
