This is a perfect bar! I’m so impressed by Jade, the bartender. She is a class act! Managing the entire bar on her own with a friendly smile and delicious drinks. It takes a special person to craft such a comfortable, cool, classy spot. A+++++++

i have looked forward to an ice cream drink all summer and finally had the opportunity to get my drink. upon entering around 11pm me and my three other friends were informed by a young woman behind the bar that after making an earlier party’s drinks she would be going on a 15 minute break and that she would not be making any more ice cream drinks for the rest of the night. she said we could play games while we waited and practically shoo’d us away to the patio. on the patio my friends and i decided we probably weren’t going to get our drinks for awhile so we felt we should just go next door to the art bar. on our way out, we heard her say a rude comment under her breath about us to another patron. so disappointed by meow bar last night.

One can reasonably expect to be served upon entering a bar, yes? Not at this establishment. Upon entering, the bartender, an evasive young woman, informed us that she had other things to do and was about to take a break, and would not get to us for a while. “But feel free to play a board game—and don’t feel obligated to stay,” she said. After the initial shock wore off, we endeavored to remain and see how long it would take to be served. Mind you, we were a party of three, and there were perhaps ten other people around the bar—all of whom had been served. So we waited. We watched her go on her phone and eat a pizza and play dice with other patrons. About ten minutes later she approached us, and at this point I was certain her “break” was over. No—she then informed us that her break was now beginning, and repeated: “Don’t feel obligated to stay.” I can happily say I felt no obligation to stay at that point. Nor do I feel obligated to ever return to this establishment.

Only problem is it keeps being advertised as open until 2 am but twice that I have been there 1030 pm and again at 1130 pm. The bartenders have said we are closing but you have time for "one drink". Just not a date night atmosphere when feeling rushed twice now, and closing before scheduled or advertised time. Otherwise would easily get 5 starts.

Give this place a visit!! Owned by the Art Bar/Wonder Bar crew. They have great house cocktails but will also make you what you something by request as well if they have the ingredients. Feels homey and transports you to another place. If we lived nearby, this would definitely be our cocktail spot to sneak away and decompress after a long day. Amazing atmosphere and feels perfectly Riverwest. Thanks for all you do, Art Bar crew!
