Great, friendly little spot. Perfect spot right next to campus, and amazing staff.
Best coffee in the city. Go past the others to get here, its worth it.
i had, probably the worst, bagel and lox sandwich ever at this shop. cream cheese is not automatically included , so one has to pay an extra dollar for it. just plain ignorance of what a lox and bagel sandwich is. have the $11.00 as the price which includes the cream cheese. if anyone is ordering this sandwich, they expect cream cheese on it. take a look at the Roast's lox sandwich and be embarrassed at yours. the bagel is not a water bagel, so it is fat, puffy and unpleasant to eat and it was barely toasted. if you are going to put such a traditional sandwich on your menu, make it right, make it good.

I’ve been having a bad few months and the quality products and camaraderie of the staff really made my day.
I ordered pick up and they were very pleasant to talk to (also stylish and fun).
My iced miel was the best I’ve had in Milwaukee! The lox bagel did the job well with a great amount of smoked salmon for the price.
I definitely will make this my go-to “sweet treat” location! Excited for my next visit.
Love their oat milk lattes!
Valentine’s my go-to coffee spot, and out of all the shops I’ve visited across the country, their locations are in my top 5. The customer service, atmosphere, and of course, the coffee are all top-notch. I buy the Guatemala beans in bulk for home and always enjoy trying different coffee blends when I visit. This new location is conveniently located near the UWM campus, and I’m sure it’ll be another hit for the company.

Baristas are super friendly and coffee is great! This is a nice place to meet with a friend, study, or get work done. I loved their matcha latte and they have some yummy baked goods, too.

I came in after always having gone to the third ward location. My London fog with soy was probably the best one I’ve ever had. So much love for the baristas there, especially the one with yellow bangs. (nuna ?) She’s an absolute sweetheart and we always have a great convo. So glad to see her at downer now !!! Love love love her, she makes the best drinks

So great to have a Valentine Coffee by UWM. A great inviting space with lots of seating with outlets by nearly every seat and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It's Valentine, so of course the coffee is great and they also have a selection of beer and wine. The food was great, the salmon lox on an everything bagel with herbed cream cheese was particular good. I hope they can add outdoor seating soon.

I’m so happy a Valentine location opened on the east side!
Great local coffee shop! Love the location and feel. This would be a good spot to meet a friend for coffee or study for a couple hours. My lavender oat milk latte was great. My only suggestion would be to have a sugar-free syrup option. We will be back - and looking forward to trying the food next time!
