Went back to Ventura Taco, and this family owned spot is becoming one of my favorites. I stepped away from the usual menu items and ordered the Camarones a las Brazas, a delicious shrimp dish with onions, peppers, and garlic.. I loved it. I want more now! The service at Ventura was as kind as usual. Go, you will love this place.

Uh, oh. After several great experiences, I had a bad one recently. Unfortunately, It seems the quality of their steak has slipped. My first bite into a sandwich produced a large piece of gristle, followed by about a half dozen total throughout the meal. This is extremely disappointing, because I patronize their restaurant because of the quality of their meat and now that has dissipated. The service was great and the meal was still pretty tasty, but I find gristlel to be disgusting. I hope they take this review to heart.

I enjoyed the food at Ventura's. My Pollo con mole was excellent, much better than I expected from this tiny offshoot from a taco truck. Everything was fresh and homemade, including the delicious chips. Ventura's chimichanga, an American-Mexican dish, was also made in-house and was tasty. Our server was pleased to take care of us and enjoyed our compliments. We finished our meal with a flan that I enjoyed, but my wife thought was mediocre. She's picky, though, and we have a friend who makes her own flan, which is out of this world, but she lives in CDMX, so who cares? I had a great meal at Ventura's and shall return. Prices were reasonable.

One of our go to spots for Mexican food in Milwaukee, especially in bay view! We've only ever ordered to go but the staff seem very nice. The food is so good and you get so much! We've gotten burritos most times, which are delicious. I've also tried the mole which is amazing as well. Definitely try it if you have the chance. Would love to enjoy their outdoor patio when it gets warm again!

I like the vibe of this place and the staff is very sweet! The birria tacos were delicious and super filling! Actually, the birria itself was delicious too even by itself - which sounds crazy but trust me. I also liked the horchata and I appreciated all the cute Christmas decorations. My friend and I were the only ones in the restaurant at the time but I think everyone is missing out on such a great place to eat! Parking can be a little hard to get here but I think it’s worth the search!
