My bartender was awesome. Started with a mimosa and water. Got a pizza with an egg in middle since its different. Not a bad experience at all. Inside was chic and Upscale. Parking is different to say the least

It is always wonderful when you are serves tasty food in a modern, stylish setting and by a friendly solicitous server. I would have no problem entertaining a client or family here. Note that you may have to search for parking in this neighborhood, there is no restaurant parking.

This place will speak for itself with its delicious food, drinks, and great view. We've taken many friends and family here because it just never disappoints. They have a double decker patio allowing for more tables outside, which I recommend trying to get the top one for the better view. Really cool interior with vintage lamps hanging throughout the dinning area. There just isn't a bad seat in the house.Overall, never really had to much of an issue other than the occasional wait, but with a view like this one, you can't complain too much. Definitely recommend.

I’m extremely disappointed to see this amazing restaurant is temporarily closed. I have visited this establishment multiple times under different owners and I have to say I love the food, the view, the ambiance. I hope this restaurant opens its doors back up soon. View MKE is most definitely one of my absolute favorite spots in MKE.

WOW I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything from the food to the indoor ambiance to the view of the city on the patio was just superb. I went for brunch about two months ago and got the chicken & waffles. Sweet butter, honey, siracha mayo, all over crispy breakfast potatoes. It's the type of food you'd want to have as your last meal on death row. I also got a jumbo southern biscuit, which was so good I could have just had a couple of those and been satisfied. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

The food is outstanding- We had brunch on the patio & the food was just as great as the view! Had the Croque Madame, my mom had the BLTA & sister had the Eggs Benny. I loved the curry seasoning on the breakfast potatoes! Excited to come for dinner sometime, thank you View MKE & staff!

Had dinner here last night! DO NOT sleep on this place!!!!! Super yummy creative cocktails. An incredible wine list awaits you. Best Brussels sprouts we have ever had- empanadas came with a chimichurri sauce I could have eaten on anything! A friend had the scallops and she said they were delicious. Service was top notch. The huge big bonus cherry on top????

For my first COVID restaurant experience, View MKE was wonderful! We had requested patio seating but since that was closed due to the cold, they had us at a table inside. Tables were spaced out and staff was consistently wearing their masks so we felt comfortable. They also seemed to make sure it wasn't too crowded. Our server was super friendly and seemed to really know the menu which I appreciated! I got the fish fry which was pretty good -- not the biggest portion but crunchy and those fries were amazing! My friend got the mushroom Alfredo pizza and she said it was good and it also was a great portion. The drinks were fancy and mine brought me back to warmer summer days! Finally, we ended the meal with the blood orange creme brûlée! Oh my gosh, so good! Who would think that pistachios would be the perfect topping and it had that perfect caramelized sugar shell that you crack to eat - try it! Also, I loved the beautiful ceiling! Very pretty restaurant! I'm sure the views are amazing as well!

We arrived for our 6:15 reservation where I had requested a table by the open doors. Was reassured that it would be written down. It was not, they tied to seat us downstairs. We were sat Upstairs, after all. To start, the table was dirty, crumbs every where and dried jelly on the table. No one cleaned it. Our server showed up and she was less than enthusiastic, from the start. 4 out of 6 of us ordered the only steak on the menu and we were informed that they were “out” of the steak. This was early evening! The bottle of wine we ordered was also “out”. This is ridiculous for a Saturday night. Our bill ended up being quite expensive. The waitress was timely but had zero personality. The food was sub par. I would never recommend this restaurant or return. *I’m not a review writer but this was my daughters graduation dinner and I expected SO MUCH MORE.
We wanted somewhere outside but covered enough as to not being to cold (as the chilly weather was coming). My daughter picked this place. We all enjoyed it with acceptable social spacing. Everyone liked their food and coffee drinks. Easy parking. We would go back.

I'd never heard of View MKE before joining Yelp about a week ago, and the second I read the description I knew it was a must see. View offers just that- incredible views. Their website shows off each of the different dining/drinking locations at the site, and I knew I wanted to check out their Outdoor Patio to see their view of Milwaukee. My boyfriend and I went on our first dress-up date since corona (!) and both got those date butterflies here!!! We also had such an incredible experience with the staff; my boyfriend arrived thirty minutes early to beat me there and the hostess talked with him a lot of that time. All in all, incredible experience!!!

We had an amazing experience here. From the initial reservation (and more restaurants should take their lead and accept reservations for outdoor seating) to check-in, the wait staff, and the food, everything was perfect. We wanted to stay for an after dinner drink after our meal and they offered us a lovely spot with cozy couches with a tabletop fire pit. This was our first foray to a restaurant since February (pre-Covid). Their safety precautions were thoughtful, the hand sanitizers were plentiful and easy to find, the wait staff ALL wore masks the whole time, and the seating was appropriately distanced. We will definitely return!
